I love this movie and this segment. So much talent on the same stage. I still look for it and play it to lift my spirits. And after all this time it still does that.

Seeen this a hundred times, but still one of the greatest collection of talent to jam together ever.

One of the greatest collection of r&b musicians ever gathered on the stage at the same time. I can only imagine the energy in that place. Ive had the fortune of meeting and hanging with about half of them in my lifetime. They were the greatest times ive ever had. Thanks dad i love you.

I am a preschool teacher, and I use the call and response part of the song all the time to get the attention of all my kids. It is like a signal to them to stop talking and get ready for the next part of the day.
