I love the rat king, I was hoping the helmet interaction would make the crown glow. Or that it would at least do that with more rat kings nearby

@@Krypzthe description makes me think its a glitch first off the glow should show in the menu,second off it says that additional affects trigger with more rat kings out so i assume the glow that rat king has will appear in the eyes when it’s fixed if it is a bug or something

I can imagine one for either Touch of Malice or Thorn (realistically it'd be Thorn) that gets a green fire type effect. It could also possibly work with any weapon of sorrow.

We just made a clan called the Rats, and then THIS came out. Like how could we not?? Also very disappointed it doesn’t do anything crazy with more people. Imagine a glowing crown above the head

Such a nice design. Lots of interactions you can’t see on the character screen though, like Synthos’ activation glow or the burning tiger head ornament. They should let you activate it in the preview like they let you with sparrows and ships tbh

Thanks for always showcasing the items in the store so we know what they look like etc. Really makes me feel better about spending on them instead of equipping them and being disappointed that something didn't look the way I wanted it to. I think this is a pretty decent ornament and glad it's for all classes. I saw that your teammate shot his weapon in the helm at your helmet during the rgb shader part. I used to fire weapons in the helm by holding the trigger and tapping the ghost button but it doesn't work now since the patch. How did he do it if you don't mind me asking?

I just bought this cause i like using rat king and i didn’t even notice that it said there was a interaction so nice! Its kinda funny one of the first exotic sparrows i got was the rat king sparrow but the older one so i kinda want to get the new ship ad well to round it off

I've always said this about the tiger head ornament you got from the 30th anniversary - the flames should ALWAYS be visible. The only way to see them on your own character is to equip a sword when in combat, and that seems dumb as hell to me

As its seems to have become tradition I got ill the week of launch (Took down my Mrs & Son too though so HA! 😄) I wasn't expecting the Rat King Ornament across all 3 Classes which is definitely sweet. Still waiting for a good Precious Scars Ornament lol. I like what they did for the new Strand Exotic, just add more Skulls, Bones etc. The whole thing for Precious Scars is rebuilding to make it like new/better. Give him some Cabal Tusks or a Hive Bone Crown FFS 😄

I can't wait to play pvp and shoot at a hunter that suddenly puts up a barricade, or a titan that randomly goes invisible mid-gunfight. Having an ornament be the same for every class is something they really need to distinguish somehow.

It doesn't state that on the ornament, just the rat king exotic, also there was someone else with the crown and there was no difference

@@Krypz My guess is that it’s bugged, many simple things are bugged with the drop of the final shape, specifically smoke bombs with trappers ambush 😒

I have no idea why Bungie leaned so hard into rat king stuff, but I love it. Rat king is one of my favorite weapons and I love being part of the squeak squeak community.
