Kass and team will definitely do custom packaging. We had a few items added, including a custom pass through between one of the cabinets in the main sleeping cabin so that I could pass through something from the galley. The battery capacity is an easy upgrade.

I think it is ridiculous that these tiny off roading trailers sell for 37k to 50k. Eblven the ROA guys on KZfaq are crazy selling that about 15' long Australian brand offroading trailer for over 125k!

Quality and capability don't come cheap! Wish they did 😆.

In a sense, yes - but this one is designed to go anywhere your 4x4 can go, take the licking... and keep on ticking.

We searched high and low, with a prioritized list of must-have criteria and nice-to-haves. Visited multiple outdoor expos and dealers around the country over 18 months. THIS camper presented us with almost zero comprises at the price point. In fact, once all the additional equipment was tallied up - it presented a very good value, as well as availability and some customization. YES it comes with a fridge, as well as built-in stove, 270 awning, roof top tent, solar, custom aluminum table, method wheels, K02s, full size spare, DC-DC charger, 200ah lithium, propex heater, "plumbed" for AC, Extensive lighting package, custom roof rack& storage box, more work surfaces, cabinets, mounting plates, than any camper in this space. These have been towed by multiple jeeps and Toyotas with rear mounted wheels, no problem!

@@ROMRreviews Fridge is listed as optional in the brochure. You can get all that and a bit more for $37K list from another manufacturer right in Colorado. Also fridge up high on the door like that is pretty tough to use for shorter people. So many things come down to little details, and this one has some flaws and a price that is just out of whack with the competition.

Which manufacturer? There are two or three in Colorado but they aren't even in the same ballpark when it comes to materials used in construction. The fridge can easily be set on the ground below with the design of the 12v wiring harness, creating another work surface for the kitchen. One of our favorite features.

We think Boreas makes a great camper and are really happy the industry has so many options for people. For equivalent build customers will approach $49k with the Boreas build sheet. For ~10% increase in purchase price, customers are getting significant upgrades in ground accessible storage capability - both inside and outside, a full length rack with 5 cross bars, dramatically different off-road geometry with 3" inches additional clearance and much better departure angle, a full 60" wide sleeping quarters, 2 built in prep tables, an additional custom aluminum movable prep table with a custom storage box on the roof, additional lighting capability/controls, more USB connections inside, adjustable map lights, full length weight bearing slider/fenders, and will see a weight savings of 450lbs. These are significant considerations and we urge folks to go out and visit showrooms, expos, etc. to find exactly what they're looking for.
