Demon form is gutted with these changes. Faster health drain, less armor, less damage, less attribute bonus. Honestly, just revert it back to using fists and go back to its previous stats

I was a fully kitted barbarian kit blood exchange and didn’t miss a hit and still got out dps by a warlock demon form.. im happy with the nerf warlock is way too op and needs to stop with the buffs

@@anthonyfuentes6090 I agree with you that warlock is way too powerful and versatile. However, nerfing demon form, especially the health drain, was too much. I'd rather be able to just use fists as demon than these changes. Just as Dimo said, they buffed cactus in the same patch. So you might die by just whacking them instead of actually getting in a fight with them

@@anthonyfuentes6090 You aren't supposed to trade blows against a demon form. You just kite them until they are forced to exit demon form and heal and loose their stacks.

I completely 100% agree. Just bring back claw demon that doesnt off themselves by just existing for HALF A MINUTE.

@@shaboingboing799 How can it be good? you burn yourself in thirty seconds with ONLY the self damage now. It gives barely any defense anymore, and using weapons just totally kills the concept of being a huge demon. Also it looks fking GOOFY AS HELL. its completely freaking unplayable. All I want is the old barehanded demon back as well.

I just want to play as a frontline warlock and for it to actually be good. The weapon wielding demon made it a viable option for playing a plate frontline role, similar to a fighter. However, the reduced stats and ESPECIALLY the increased health drain makes the ability itself more of a detriment to your sustainability…… You might as well run blow of corruption, and at that point, just play fighter instead. I feel like these nerfs were a smidge heavy handed, and although I agree with mostly everything, the health drain and the soul collector stack nerfs make the playstyle completely useless.

I think they should add a chase mechanic like in mordhau where when a player tries to run from u during fight with back facing u get a speed buff and can catch up and kill them

Not so sure about that as a lot of classes need to kite to survive pdr and barb; but having something like a bola for those classes that if they land it; it inflicts a snare, would be a cool thing

bardiche is very useful for pve, 2 shots mummies with HS, and has a really long range

What about putting Achilles heel on a duration instead of a one use thing? Like a way for the barb to stick. 3 seconds of achilles heel. I feel like barb needs a panther like leap.

Btw I a while ago, I asked devs to make Achilles, weak point, rupture and the rest last only certain amount of time after activation before going on CD. Would be fair in my oppinion, infinite duration doesn't seem right to me.

Magical stuff + rings/necks/hood with add magical damage. Dark reflection + every perk that increase magical damage. Skills BOC/Phantomize enjoy

@@iilzeniil4914 if you're taking BoC and Phantomize then you don't need a spell book, so have a staff in one slot for PvP and then falchion+shield for PvE

NOBODY even uses the dang demon form, why was it nerfed SO HARD? Seriously just give me the claw demon form back, using weapons as a huge demon beast is STUPID and UGLY. 3% hp per secon is completely freaking unplayable.

Armor ms changes has made the range meta bearable dude (you can be 300ms on fight in full plate - rondel build and you can out speed warlocks and wiz) and Cactus builds not that bad cos of the health increase all got + 5 true is normal on hit now

Coming with thousands of hours in games in tarkov and mordhau its insanity to me how kiting is still a meta. It used to be a problem in mordhau until they added inertia, where instantly turning around removes all speed as well as moving has acceleration. In dark and darker, hitting a movement key instantly gives you full speed (except s). Whoever is in charge of game design is an actual idiot

Unlike mordhau the blocking and partying mechanics aren't as fine tuned (if you can call mordhau that, but in comparison maybe) and without kiting, I think the lesser armor classes would be fkd

@@AmmoPack my dude, acceleration and inertia is INDUSTRY STANDARD in video games. And what on earth does it have to do with blocking? Mordhau, chivalry, and every other melee slasher uses these mechanics. So in your world, where inertia inherently doesnt allow for “blocking and fighting back”, how do those games do it????

when you spend 3-5k gold on a decent warlock boc build, you will be able to one shot players... That's why this build is going to be very popular among veterans

@@DnDimo They destroyed all caster builds, I just play a will/agi, PDR, magic power lock with shield and dagger now. slapping every melee dps and countering Clerics hard lol. (there isnt any caster left so) Perks i try atm: Demon Armor, Collector, Reflection and Shadow Touch (its suprisingle good, Specialy with a dagger) and BoC and Phantom of course. The Dark Reflection is just a Bonus, idk what to say weird META !!

Pretty much I went from running around in demon form (prebuffs, before weapons were allowed) to now letting people hit me once and they flop over dead... ffs, stop nerfing the close range! The demon form didn't even need a buff to begin with, it was fun running around in plate with just claws!

Its a Buff for sure. You get an average of 30 MS overall. The initial burst is a 125% increase, next 2 seconds is a 50% increase and the last two is a 25% decrease over the previous number. Fighter needed a more solid gap close and this is it.

i never seen a game soo imbalance that they need to do a whole patch just for nerfs and buffs every week , especially when you have a leaderboard and a ranking system and marketplace for items you prepare a huge amount of gold for a build for certain class just soo that next week they kill that class , that ruins the experience of progression ithink

@@Noopop any decent game can take 5 years to make depending on funding, size of the studio, setbacks, quality of the game itself etc etc having a "simple" game concept doesn't change that. The amount of stuff u have to write, test, and fix over time if u plan to launch something like a new game mode is huge. So yeah, expect a lot more of this or come back in a year or two.

a build that will return lot of damage on impact. As a warlock All it takes to hit the player 1 time with BOC and if you get hit once you win the fight (because of damage you gonna return) Also known as One Shot build that does enough damage to k*ll barbs in 1 hit
