I also got mine directly when I received the email. :) It has a medium nib which wrote perfectly out of the box. I inked it with Private Reserve Arabian Rose, because I love dusty pinks/purples. :) Enjoy your pen !

It sounds like a few of us were impulsive shoppers that day, haha! Arabian Rose is so pretty - I’m sure it’s great in your M nib. I wish I liked lighter inks like that more! You enjoy your pen, too!

They really did a great job making it feel unique! In fact, I questioned whether they actually called it an Estie. But on the website, Esterbrook says something about “this special Estie” or something like that, so it IS one, but a different one for sure!

Your pen looks ravishing! It's on my wish list. ❤ I wish it had a cushion cap though. I love the push back that you get when you place the pen inside of the cap.

I like the cushion caps, too, and a few times today I’ve kinda looked at my pen like “what’s wrong with this?” when I close it, because it just feels so different. I wonder if the cushion cap doesn’t look as nice through transparent material? Keep this one on your wish list anyway - it’s really special! (And still available from Bungubox directly!)

Nice ink choice! I don’t normally like clear barrels where you can see the cartridge/converter, but the petals and the gold details are really pretty.

Thanks for this video. I heard the Juicy Broads talking about this pen, I think last night. I hadn’t seen it yet and was wondering about it b/c one comment mentioned that it was too transparent and she wasn’t pleased with it. Then, this morning up pops your video. As soon as I saw it, I quickly went to the bungubox web site and ordered it. I got the EF nib as well. I was tempted by some of the specialty grinds, but I’m new at this and don’t know much about them yet. To me, it is absolutely gorgeous. I can’t wait to receive it. Hope mail to US is quick! I’m going to the St. Louis pen show in a few weeks and will be looking for the perfect ink-Monteverde Gratitude is on my list. Thanks again.

I think it’s gorgeous, too! I’m not always a fan of super transparent demonstrator pens, either. But this one is different for some reason. I hope you love it!! Have so much fun at the pen show- I’ve never been to one!

Excited for this video :) our experience is almost exactly same. I had zero plans of getting a pen that day, but I saw the email, and I went for it. I also got the EF nib :) it's my very first Estie :) I do hope that you are right about the 4 pens, and that the moon one have shimmer and glows in the dark :). I inked mine with Sailor Shikiori Sakura-mori, then I saw BunGuBox had a Thumbelina pink ink. So I purchased that, and now my pen has Thumbelina ink :) I feel like we are pen twins, so exciting :) Thank you for this video. I enjoy them all

I’m glad I’m not the only one who was a bit impulsive on that day! 😂 To be fair, even if I had seen it beforehand, I would’ve planned to buy it. I hope you enjoy your first Estie! They are such great pens. I had to look up Thumbelina - it looks like a perfect ink match to the flower petals! Enjoy your pen, pen twin! 😊

Thank you :) so I'm enjoying it. I think it would always be inked up for sure. I appreciate how you highlighted the differences with the regular Esties, I do like that this one has the seal but not the cushion part :) it makes posting very snug and awesome 😊

I’ve been using it today, and I like the cap closure, too! It still catches me off guard, but something about it is so nice. And the material just feels so good!

What a beautiful pen! This is the first video I have seen of this pen and wasn't really aware of its release. I'll be interested too to see what other models come out. Esterbrrook makes such great pens. For an extra fine that pen is definitely a wet writer. Enjoy it!

It is a nice wet EF nib! I like Jowo EFs, but I’m not the biggest fan of Japanese EFs. They’re soooo sharp and tiny. I don’t know if they advertised this pen anywhere ahead of the email release - it was a surprise! I hear there might be a Snoopy Esterbrook before long, too? Let’s keep our ears peeled!

I seen it still available today on the Bungubox website and it was still available in EF which is my favorite sized nib. 🌸Happy Birthday Month to Meeee ✔ 🌸I adore transparent fountain pens and IT's PiNk Oh My GoOdNeSs... ✔ 🌸I don't own a Bungubox or an Esterbrook fountain pen... Yet.. ✔ 🌸It is still available with an EF Nib ✔ Might be the right time to own one...Yep, in the cart it goes ✔✔✔ 🌸🌸🌸 🖋 I'm thinking I'll be inking it with a light pinkish brown ink... Something along the lines of Wearingeul White Rabbit when it comes... I'm so excited to be able to purchase such a special pen like this... 🙏🤞 it ships this week...
