My son Ian who just graduated from college with a degree in sports management just went to work for PING Arizona starting in the manufacturing plant building PING clubs. He's been playing golf since he was 8 years old and is a 4 handicap. He told me he wanted to start at the bottom and earn his way up learning the PING brand from the bottom up. In the PING program he will move to Customer Service next, then into fittings and eventually he wants to become a Master Fitter working on the Pro Truck at PGA Tournaments. He's only 25 so he got a great future ahead of himself if he works hard and listens/learns! He told me the PING Blueprint S are sweet clubs and he really love them. PING has a program for employees that gets them fitted and into PING clubs at a great rate, so he's stoked to be able to play all kinds of PING clubs, drivers & putters. To say he's happy, would be an understatement. When you love what you do it's never a job!!!!!

Just got fitted to the S and they feel amazing got a cracking deal 1250 4-pw and ping hoofer and a dozen Bridgestones 😮

I LOVE Mark wearing a Srixon hat (which I play) and praising quality products from other manufacturers. Awesome!!

Blueprint S and T having great success on tour just shows how good these irons are. Not only for the tour pros but for the upper end of regular golfers too. Great review as always Mark, keep up the good work 👍

Went full S. No gimmicky hollow body flyers! I tried these and the Mizuno 923 forged and the ping had a softer but crisp feel. Consistent yardages.

Ping definitely strives for A+ quality. I agree pricey, however some players will buy. Myself, I play the G430 Pwr Spec. I love having all the wedge options. Also I had a great fitting experience with Ping.

I would love to see PING sponsor you Mark , s you have always liked their equipment and would like to see you go to Arizona to the Ping compound and get a full bag fitting of all their equipment and see how you would build your bag setup , that to me would be a highly entertaining video , as I have always liked and played many ping clubs through the years! Those Blueprints look amazingly good !!!!!!!!

I picked up a barely used secondhand set of ping i230 irons with La golf shafts last year for £700. I won’t be changing any time soon I love them

I was at golf galaxy today and checking both the s and the t out… man they are good looking. Very good looking . I play mizuno pro 221 irons right now and I’m half tempted to go to a mix set with them with the s in the 6,5,4. They are very good looking clubs. I just need to hit them and make sure the my feel as good as the 221.

They look great but prices in general have been crazy across the board in Golf.

Been loving my i230's, but I went and hit the Blueprint S and T when my local shop got them in. I loved both, I ended up ordering a set of 7-PW in the T's to offset my i230's. Really excited about getting my hands on them, great review Mark!

Tested both S and T today and can tell you the T was the clear standout . OMG the T was the best feeling iron I've ever hit. It's the feel I've been looking for in a forged iron for years.The S felt similar to my TCBs and also reminded of a T150 feel, not quite as soft and satisfying as the T. Prices here in Australia are $415 per club !! Very expensive. Im tempted. Combo set..

Just seen the demo club in the pro shop. Looks great. Very clean cut reminds me of the Titleist MBs in the T version. The S looks clean and with a squat blade and no cavity seen just a top line. These sound and feel other forged clubs. Plenty of distance. Check’em out. Those prices though ! Ridiculous atm. I purchased the new T100s and have a small stone chip in the toe of my 9 iron.

Interested to know how the S compares to my current gamer Callaway TCB irons for size,feel and forgiveness ? These new Ping irons look great.

20 months ago I paid £12-1300 for 4-PW in the i525. It'll be at least the next generation before I have the uncomfortable conversation with the Mrs about a new set of irons. Just too expensive lately. For a game.that has.seen a massive rise in the number of participants, all the big brands could make record profits with a reduction in price. Plain greed I'm afraid.

Would love to be good enough to even consider these. However I525 it is for me!

Your first impression after hitting the T was the clincher for me...I mean you know how to hit a golf ball exactly like a tour pro...nuff said

S in the power spec for me i reckon. The "standard" combo set might be S 5-7 and T 8-w

I was sold until the ridiculous price. Maybe $1300-1400 I'd save for them. Clubs especially the past 2 years are crazy.

Interesting that Ping are offering less custom shafts now than the previous og blueprint. I think this has got alot to do with more pros and low amateurs elite ball strikers going graphite composite shafts and steelfibre graphite offerings. Louis Oosthuizen just won 2 DP world titles back to back with a blended set with the Mitsubishi MMT 125g TX shaft. Performs like an iron shaft but just comes off friendlier without having to go after it. In 10 or 15 years time will steel shafts be phased out. Ok, matbe a little bit longer than that but the progression continues.

They are certainly great "players' irons" but I'm a bit confused by the looks of them. If the plan is to allow combo sets, why not make them a little bit more similar from the back? Sure they look very much the same at address but in the bag, it's not really nice looking, that difference. My set is a combo P-8 MB and 7-4 CB but they look really quite close from the back.

My set of ping irons cost me £425 3 TO PW, PING, i10 and still to this day use them. The only thing I've changed over the years is my driver and wedges. And still have a brand new set of callaway forged wedges in the spare room.

The t is SOOOOOO gorgeous, too bad so few people should actually game them.

Obviously thats a lot, a lot a lot, but dang if Ping hasnt been on a roll the last few years. To point that I get their prices, and they may be worth it too.

The prices are really high when you consider you can buy a Mizuno blade for considerably less but they are great looking irons. I'd love a set but the price will keep me away unless I come into some unexpected money! Maybe Ping are trying to actually recoup some of the cost of making a club like this that will sell so few units.

The price is basically in line with P790/P770..... Cost of manufacturing has gone up. Cost gets forwarded to consumers.
