How 2 get gud at duel links 2k21 1. Steal ur parents credit card 2. Buy 3 copys of either of the 3 meta pre builts (for new-to-ygo players I recommend blue eyes because its easy, for new-to-DL players I say NKs, for crack heads go w desparado) 3. use ur dream tickets on generic tech cards (cosmic, karma cut, whatever ur feelin) 4. KOG in ur first season 5. Realize how boring kog is and never kog again

This is great and I couldn’t agree more as a new player who started a month ago. I had to figure out by watching a lot of videos that noble knights would be the best deck. I’m a big fan of your channel and dual links entertainment. They are big fans of the Amazon’s deck because you get it while pulling for canadia which makes sense... but spending a few gems for 1 structure deck of noble knights is far better from attempting both. I figured that out on my own unfortunately but I cannot recommend this enough.

Top-down view only makes a difference if you're streaming. If you're playing for fun the mats and monster cards will look better with the standard view. Set by preference.

Do I need to get a second copy of the ex structure deck for blue eyes ?

I only started a few days ago and I have a kaiba deck and it's op ASF, I have 2 blue eyes,1 alt blue eyes a red-eyes and a foil blue eyes plus I have the elemental heros as base monsters and hero buffs, mountain terrain and other dragons, it could be better but I haven't lost a match and only taken damage in 3 battles and they were traps

Not new to the game, just wanted some suggestions on a new game. Not surprised of starting with the Kaiba deck is the best choice. Maybe should try Noble Knights since it seems Blue Eyes decks don't seem to work as much, unless you have excellent cards. Personally I think Noble Knights might go well with Joey in the original duel world with the field spell skill for the boost. I just need to be careful how much I play and how much I spend.

I don't know if it's still the case but when i started end of last year there was 3 UR and 3 SR dream tickets from day 4 and with the starter gems and that I built 75% of a meta BE deck. I think I chose luckily lol

Wish I saw this a week ago, still don't know what dream tickets are but blew all my resources on red-eyes support I have a really good farming deck but not much more than that , made sure to pick up some trap holes and raigeki but has been a real eye opener returning to Yu-Gi-Oh have not played tcg since middle school in the early 200s and a lot has changed A LOT. I think I realized how bad I messed up after jumping into ranked and just getting blasted turn 4

Welcome to new player. Recent structure deck highly recommended(but maybe try to avoid them now coz they'll grt nerf soon??!). I recommend magnet for starter.

this might sound crazy, but i think on top of the gameplays you do, you should do videos explaining how to beat certain decks for new players who don't know when to activate certain effects, or backrow. just a thought though, thanks for the tips

Photons are a great f2p deck if you farmed kite and got 3 advancers I restarted my game farmed up kite to get 3 advancers and now I’m only missing 1 lizard and thrasher and 2 galaxy cyclones Other light xyz monsters/this has gotten me up to platinum 2 I say photons is a great f2p deck

Even though Lunalight is not Meta relevant at the moment, I highly recommend it as 1st deck for new player. It's super easy to pick up, all in one box, fun to play on the ladder if not KOG worthy.

im going to tell you a story of my duel links account getting deleted, so i played duel links a year ago and i started to get good at the game, at one point i had all the duel worlds, and what helped me is my xyz deck, i was runnin that deck so hard i got yuma and astral to max ranked in less than a week, i really think i had the best xyz deck till i went in ranked, tbh it was fun i got gold rank in almost 5 days, only running my xyz deck and my silent swordsman deck, the disappointment is my ace was zubaba general and kochi kochi dragon, i was straight up abusing those cards, i locked every character in gx, i had the rarest cards it was great, and then i took a break from duel links 50 days from now, i took a break for a week i didnt even touch my phone, i grabbed my phone i tried to turn it on, it wouldn't let me so i put it on a charger for a full day, it still wouldn't turn on, keep in mind my whole duel links account is on that phone, i tried forever and thats how i lost my rare duel links account.

Where do I find Ancient Rules or Hallowed Life Barrier... Trying to make the Blue Eyes deck and those 2 cards are not where they say this should be... need help
