This movie makes me think of one episode of my life. I was a total garbage, kind of no future guy, and I met fortunately a beautiful girl named Marie. Before her, I haven't met such a person, and never felt such high vibrations. She litteraly saved me, she was my miracle, she healed me. Unfortunately, I lost touch with her, I don't know what she's been up to! Wishing her the best! I will still love you, and pray for you. Seeing this movie brought tears to my eyes and nice soundtrack!

October 2022: I saw this classic a few nights ago on Peacock. I teared up several times AGAIN, just like I did the first time I watched it. I'm 54 now. I had forgotten just how wonderful the movie was, a true gem! Two great scenes for me: one being where they are at the state line and one the other when they pass each other in the hall, glancing at each other... and both of them looking back, too. Awesomeness!! 😃🥰🥰🥰🥰

I cannot get enough of this song. Watching the scenes and listening to this song to me is amazing. I too shed the water when watching this movie to the point it hurts. I have seen the movie at least three times and want to again, only if I could stop the crying. It made only around $50 million and the critics did not like the movie. I have not understood why on both accounts. I did not know about it till a friend's teenage daughter told me about the movie and let me use the VHS, at the time not long after the movie had played.
