all the janky goodness you could want. i wasn't overly thrilled when MKM dropped, but i have to admit that i've played more standard since it's dropped than i did over the previous year. and now i have another deck to add to that. it didn't LOOK like a spectacular set at surface level, but it has so many pieces for so many things, it's like the ultimate utility set.

This deck is a real work of art, really cool stuff. Doesn't even seem all that janky tbh, it has some decent interaction. 15:50 You could've use Corps Explosion on the Charming Scoundrel you put in the grave last turn to safely remove their board with only 2 damage there. edit: Nvm! It's damage equal to power!

Dude thank you so much you creating this! I’ve been trying to make something work with those rats for a bit now. And didn’t even realize that corpse explosion existed. Upset I didn’t think of it myself but glad the rats I crafter 4 wcs with finally have their combo!

Hey adding blue just enough to cast I'll timed explosion then you have an easy way to get yargel into the graveyard and wiping the board 2x with the same yargel

Good plan. You could remove white and warleaders and add the servitors if you wanna stick to 3 colors

You don't need Twisted Sewer Witch (or vein ripper), because you can tutor for Bitter Reunion instead. Just use more combo pieces like Barbed Servitor. Or instead of servitor, you can run Extraction Specialist to reanimate Tangled Colony / Scoundrel (helps the deck dig deeper and survive against aggro.) In either case, I would also run more of the surveil lands, because the deck is so combo heavy. But hey, I can appreciate what you are doing. It's a pretty sick decklist! I will build my decklist something like this and let you guys know how it goes: -1 vein ripper -1 Pile On -2 Sewer Witch -3 Cut Down +1 bitter reuinion +1 Case of the Stashed Skeleton +2 Extraction Specialist +3 Torch the Tower 2 of each black/red channel lands + no basics ultra greedy mana base

Yeah I am nervous about too many tap lands but you're probably right there! My biggest problem I had in testing was what to tutor for if I've only got black rats to convoke with. You can't cast the reunion with the rats as you need at least 2 red mana for that. Song of Totentanz is good for 1 red if available. One card that intrigued me, but a bit out there is Bladecoil Serpent!

Yeah good plan. The video that inspired this deck did have those cards, so this deck is trying something a little different but absolutely those cards are very effective in here. I wish the servitor could block though!

@@HexMTG it's honestly pretty great if you get the boros board of Gleeful Demo tokens established in your early turns before dropping it as a suprise in combat or against removal.

Nice deck! I even used 15 rare wilds to craft it and was glad I did. I was missing all the MKM lands for some reason even though I've opened lots of packs

SaffronOlive used the combo wrong The way better combo is: Barbed Servitor + Howlpack Avenger Any damage to the Servitor (by our own burn spells), Results in infinite damage to your opponent

Ive tried to do this to varying degrees of success. Getting it to night with both creatures on the board was the hardest part for me. If you have any ideas how to do this reliably I'd love to hear and I'm super eager for this to be a future video!

@@HexMTG my plan was to skip a turn and do nothing (or let opponent do nothing) So it becomes Dark And the moment Howlpack Avenger flips into its Backside, I use Instant Spells (or Channel Abilities) to deal damage to the Servitor
