Several comments about wanting a traditional battery terminal so you can swap batteries out. Makes sense for high quality lights that outlast there batteries. I'm not so sure the light itself is strong enough. I bought a Kodiak 5000 lumin flashlight from Menards store during black Friday. It eventually started to flicker and hitting it would make it momentarily turn on. Thing was less than 2 months old used just for 20 min periods. Hopefully this is built better and not cheapened as they gain a good reputation. I bought a 2 cell light from them that lasted a year with little use and now has flickering issue at times. Love the light but the internals are crap. The aluminum case is usually not needed for how fast they die. Although I don't want to pay Stream Lite the other big names prices when even they seem to not be as good as there hay day. So to harbor freight I go trying to pay the least so throwing it away is easier.😁 Harbor freight the Walmart or hardware stores.......the AutoZone of car repair......

Just got mine today at Harbor.not too big.just right in your hand .reminds me of Streamlight survivor light.

It would have been nice if you took it outside or darkened the room you were in to show how much it lights things up. Take it outside and show how far far the beam will light things up and its pattern, i.e. central beam and surrounding field.

Take the top light portion off the main tube and you can unclip the battery and pull it out from the top

It would have been nice if you had tested the brightness in a dark area. Just sayin.

I just bought one today 5/4/24 and a really strange thing is that it will not change with the type C to type C cable that i use for charging my phone and vape. However it does change with other USB to type C cables that i have and the suplied cable that came with it

Stupid using the plugs... Do traditional battery contacts with 18650

If I get one I'll hack it to take a drop-in battery. There's no reason to make a rechargeable flashlight with a (practically) unremovable battery. You can get small, almost free 18650 chargers and swap out the battery instantly instead of waiting 2 hours for a recharge. 18650 batteries are 3.7v so there are no contact problems where you have to shake the flashlight to make it come on like the old 1.5v batteries.

The battery system looks almost homemade. Deal breaker for me. I would think more thought should have gone in there.

Just bought one two weeks ago. I charged it over night and now it goes out once you snap it on. If you buy I would recommend not charging overnight....crap

I was interested until I saw that the battery isn’t easily replaceable. Hard pass.
