Just 3,000 of this Limited Edition piece have been created, only available in Europe.
Its design is inspired by the rugged harshness of the mountain’s rock face. The textured dial reveals a different expression as the angle of vision changes, whilst the blue tones of the hands and indices extend the alpine theme.

Excellent let me know what you think of it when it turns up pleases , But next time if I was you Sir I'd get it from an AD as most will offer you up to 10 or 20% of RRP

Forgot to say, the straps are £85 each from Seiko if you need to replace them. I purchased a spare leather one as I can see myself wearing this watch a lot.

Decent review. Very nice looking watch. The accuracy, cost, and the fact that the compass ring doesn’t seem to line up with all the N,E, S,W, markers when set, is a downer. Pity really, because it’s a stunning looking watch.

Hi Mark thanks for the comment , the N,E,S,W markers line up perfectly chap as there is no ratchet system its just fiction show they move freely, I believe I say this in the video Sir

Go to 2:35 in the video you can see the bezel can be placed anywhere about the dial, with this type of bezel it can always be placed correctly and never be when , not like a ratchet diver bezel system, as for the cost I wouldn't say its so bad for what your getting. Accurately is hit and miss but can be regulated pretty easily enough

I do like this and the mini Alpinist range for that matter they always look great , I'd even go as far as saying its the strongest in the hole Seiko range Gary

Can Someone Please Answer Me Why My 60+ Years Old Watch (42 h power reserve), Never serviced and With Daily Use the past 30 years (got it in 70-ies and used it 20 years only occasionally) is with The 5-40 Sec/Month Error and my new Seiko Alpinist which I have got a month ago is with the 40 sec/day (!) error? Were watches built more precisely in the past?

No not really Moja in fact I'd say on average watches today are better made. Its just Seiko do a really bad job of regulating there watches some are spot on offers like this one aren't I have a baby Alpinst and that one is ok , As for you watch being out by only that much a month is completely unheard of , I've never heard of any watch being that long without a service being that accurate, as 99% of all oils would of dried up by now impressive sir

@@ClickSpringReview It is a watch with the history. the model is Darwill, made in 1959 and was given as gift to my grandad from the owner of Darwil in Trieste, nowadays Italy. I have got a wath from my first communinon but wasn't allowed to wear it as it was too flashy for a kid so I started to wear it over a decade later when I returned from my mandatory 15 months military service in 1985. Since then the watch was used everywhere, even my geographic expeditions or working in a mines 500 m below surface (no electronic allowed down there) althought it was a dress watch, never failed. Sure I had smart watches since 2016 but that are only devices for urban use where someone is with the acces to powersupply... no battery poweredm, solar, kinetic, cant beat mehanic when being in real situation... that's why I bought Alpinist.

Happy Christmas Day, Have got one of those Seiko “Alpinist/Rock Face” Edition mine is around 2/4 seconds a day had luck on mine have got to say plus do enjoy the 70 H power reserve have a ETA powermatic 80 and this one it’s so cool almost don’t feel it in my wrist 👍, do like your Sinn’s collection have 104, 105 and U50 S full tegimented bracelet Steel plus an silicone red strap with the tegimented clasp top ! Wish we could be in touch with France’s and Gaey but Uk it’s not in EU anyway bad for deals unfortunately! Do like the the Sinn’s model 556 in a H link bracelet Sellita S200-1 what is your opinion on that on ? I’ve bought 104 Sinn Sa black dial with index’s do like the green dial model but it’s same watch only dial is green plus have got myself a green dial automatic calibre ETA 2824-2 it’s spot on in time , what do you think about the 103 Chrono with that acrilic “cristal “ I wear all my watches in all conditions do you think if it gets hard “scratch” the hesalite/acrilic needs to be replaced? Or just some poly watch would work? ( had few Swatch never broke the acrilic only the battery plastic parts ? If you can DM me I’ll appreciate your opinion. All the best mate !

Hi Jose ,thats a nice collection you have 👍🏻 I've a 103 myself but not with the acrylic crystal, The acrylic will scratch but 9x out 10 poly watch will be able to remove it for you , some people even prefer acrylic as they feel its more pure , As for the 556 with a SW200-1 Top Grade I'm a big fan and have one myself I've had both the ETA2824 and SW200-1 models and both were within 2s a days

@@ClickSpringReview thx Mr Barry for your reply and opinion, I’ll guess I’ve to go for a 103 sapphire cristal don’t want to be all time “polish” the cristal 😉, you sir have a great collection of Sinn’s watches! Do like those old models Chronograph reversed panda beautiful one, plus the EZM model are superb! Hopefully Sinn doesn’t higher the prices too much! Bought a different piece went on a Formex Leggera carbon case COSC certified bit price for a almost people but don’t care like the well done models they have ( bought 2 models already all perform 100 % spot on) only my 105 is a bit lazy it looses around 5/10 seconds a day compared to my 104 or the U50 anyway wish I could have access to a watchmaker school plus your videos are top ! Learned few tips on how to remove steel bracelet ( good tools Bergeon of course and some tricks👌 from you ) wish you all the best in your watchmaker’s new “degree” and waiting for new updates/videos from your channel Mr Barry!
