Hello Ning! How was the food at Coco Restaurant? You didn't write anything about it. Was it tasty? And what about the price? The restaurant seemed to be modern but not very familary.

Hi Ning. Can you please update us on Soi 1 and the area around? Thinking of the public beach near Thup Thong Guesthouse. Is it open again?

They are building a hotel there so I wouldn’t expect it to be open anytime soon. Google Maps also now shows it closed off :(

@@kalzeystorg yes I know. They haven’t been doing any construction since corona. But the beach has still been open since it’s a public beach with restaurant and bar. So I’m referring to the beach which has been closed (looks like they tried to find a way to keep the sand on the beach) but now it seems to be open again.

Is this anywhere near the main khao lak strip? I’m staying in Tui blu resort near Golden Elephant restaurant.

Nice. But the lokal market ist just a Touristmarket like the alive market at Nang Thong. The old stall with Roti, Fruits and other Things was more authentic.
