I will not miss the interruptions… “Let me finish.” “Let me say this before I forget.” “Let me get my point out first.” The people that say you both can’t make it on your own don’t understand what it’s like to have conversations with a narcissist. The energy is different and the vibes are different. You don’t even feel like sharing. I agree with the others, you both look so relaxed and in a great place.

Also they have made it clear that sitting around talking not going to be their main thing. The guests, Interviews,and skits going to put them in their own space.

I appreciated the balance they brought to the JBP. Alone though? You realize they recycling topics they see top-podcasts hitting (with no real depth or interesting perspectives - minus the L.Banks bit) and no real back-and-forths/discussions over thought provoking topics....then, you realize it's dry. I'd bet they format switches to relying on guests and skits pretty quick lol

This is the kinda vibe and energy that has been missing for a while. Haven’t seen Mal this engaged and Rory this relaxed since the high point of the Pod in 2016-2019 before the Spotify era. Shows that they left an unhappy situation and are beginning to find their feet and thrive. I can see the potential in what these guys are about to do, and I feel like they are gonna take media and content into a new dimension.

But since all the foolishness went down, I been moved on from Joe..I wasn’t listening to him just for him..No Rory or Mal and I was out. So I’m all in for this and happy for Rory & Mal.
