My nearest Chinese restaurant is owned by a Chinese lady named Michelle. I can telephone her once a week and say “take out please!” And she knows exactly what I want and she says “15-20 minutes”. I drive over to her restaurant and my “Dragon and Phenix” with fried rice and spring rolls a small hot and sour soup is always hot and ready for pick up. I have always left her a generous tip, much to her disapproval. Michelle always says “too much tip!” I really appreciate her efficiency and the quality of her food. Usually each December near Christmas, when I order my take out and go pick up she says “Free! Merry Christmas”.

The U.S. Has 750 Overseas Military Bases, and Continues to Build More to Encircle China. In 2022, the U.S. spent $877 billion on its military - the most of any country, and more than China, Russia, India, Saudi Arabia, the U.K., Germany, France, South Korea, Japan, and Ukraine combined. This figure includes $19.9 billion in military aid to Ukraine.

@BabyGirlDontEvenPlay If Cuba is so vital why have we neglected our relationship with the small country? It is because we have a Cuban refugee population closely tied to the Batista regime which came to power by coup and was notoriously corrupt and cruel, and that Cuban exile group holds an outsized influence on our government. We fought a protracted war with Vietnam resulting in the deaths of over 55 thousand American lives yet we normalized relations with that communist regime within two years and have benefited from it. We have foolishly tried to isolate Cuba resulting in pushing them into the arms of the USSR first and now to China. We started to normalize relations under President Obama but Trump reversed it like he did the Iran treaty and the Paris Accord. Now we are paying the price.

While the US (government) hasn't had a great track record amongst the places they go, you really don't want China (the government) to be in control of anything. If you know anything about either countries' history and how they operate, you'll understand why. You should learn about it instead of asking for some random people to feed you info that may or may not be correct. But the shortest explanation is: "US bad" (at the bad things they've done, so far in their short existence, but at least they try and fix a lot of stuff - by having SECURITY), "but CN is way worse" (throughout their history of 2000+ years, and still aren't stopping to help anyone but their selves, even with that, they're terrible at helping their selves, let alone others). [If we accept that "US bad", then "CN is way worse"]

The way our country acts, plays boss, I am not surprised in the least. So long as the citizens aren’t attacked I can care less tbh. If the rest of the world is sick of the U.S. it wouldn’t blow me away. I’m not clutching my chest gasping acting surprised by that. Life really gets treated like a movie and fact is the big dog can get annoying and when there’s more than one source that’s tired of the bull then you have a problem.
