I’m fired up to see what they come out with! As I recall, it took a while for GEC to perfect their knives after a bunch of the old-timers retired and they hired several new people. So, I’m glad Mr. Cooper is being upfront about honing their knife making skills with Weed & Co. Of course, he might have to make sure the employees aren’t getting high while they’re at work. 😶‍🌫️

Really stoked about the Schatts. I've seen the Weed and Co knives. Not really a fan of the cannabis shields, though.

Hopefully they don't do small limited runs like GEC. There will be hawks on ebay and people getting second mortgages to buy a knife on the secondary market.

I’m curious if the quality will improve moving forward. The Weed & Co reviews from owners have been very rough. At the price point I’m not interested unless the quality gets better. You can buy the same quality from case for half the price or better. The branding also seems fairly juvenile with the shield. I wouldn’t have issue if they were sold for $15 at the smoke shops I suppose. I feel it was the wrong move for a serious knife brand at the price point personally.
