Lumity 2.0 LOL.... Focus on the Plot My Guy. Im definitely liking this show. What were your thoughts ?

Since the creator HAS confirmed that LGBT elements will be present in this series, people seem to think Andrea will end up being Molly's boo. BUT...what about Libby, guys? Something tells me SHE might be the one instead of the bully girl

I'd prefer Molly be with Libby tbh. Just for once I'd like the love interest to be the friend, rather than the rival (although, Amity wasn't a rival for long).

When Molly turned “this can’t get any worse” into “that means it can only get better!” I knew my heart was being set up to shatter when they inevitably find the thing that makes her cry. That being said, VERY excited.

So far, I’m really like it. Molly is so hyper actively and positive. I see a lot of potential. I don’t see Andrea as a ship. She is too mean just for the sake of bein mean. Amity had a bit more nuance.

I can already tell that everyone has been comparing this to Phineas and Ferb in terms of the amount of songs we were going to get, and rightfully so. Phineas and Ferb in my opinion was the cream of the crop and it came to musical numbers, so this is gonna be delicious for my ears

Just watched the first 2 episodes 5 minutes ago, really cute show, and great pilot! Can’t wait to see more!

I relate to Molly so much! I was the new girl six times growing up. And moved from house to house, apartment to apartment 10 times. I've had to say goodbye to a lot of friends, including best friends. We mostly moved at the end of the year, but there were two instances when we left in the middle of the year. We finally stopped switching schools at 4th grade and after that was your standard elementary to middle to high school to college moves, so I stopped being the new girl thankfully.

I am sold since day 1. The animatin and expressins are so good and funny. This could be the new big show, especiallly with a song every episode ike Phineas and pherb, and cant wait to see more.

I was wondering when you were gonna post your reaction, and not a few minutes later, here it is! This show has some potential, relatable characters, and an interesting plot to see for the show. That was smart hiding the ghost world plot from the promo/trailer (unless I missed it-in which case that was on me). I am interested on why Andrea is so sensitive with her name, and I’m gonna guess someone (maybe a former close friend or parent) mispronounce her name before so she’s just really sensitive about it (really love Andrea’s hair tho).

and yet it already gives me vibes of Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy mixed with Star vs the Forces of Evil

It's worth the watch and probably the bully becomes friends than love interest but I don't think that will stop fans

I hate the fact that I relate so much with Scratch unabe to deal with all the positive energy of Molly. Also it would be a chaotic group if Molly, Star, luz, Marcy and Mabel meet themselves, no one is safe.

The creators confirmed there will be LGBTQ+ rep like The Owl House but I think autism rep too! I love modern animated shows, rep is really important to show that they matter too and for people to relate! Molly could end up with Andrea or Libby but it’s too early to tell yet. Can’t wait to watch more of this show!

Oh the show hasn't even been this long and you know their are fan arts about this ship or whatever one spark and the fandom spreads like wildfire 🔥🔥🔥

I’m happy for that to be mostly a slice of life so no major dangers all the time something more down to earth

I think it's too early to make an opinion on the characters, but I have to say that Molly's optimism is sometimes contagious to the point that it makes us happy. Her view of the world kinda reminds me of an old show called Ruby Gloom, where the main character was always able to see the bright side on the dark side. It might be too early, but I can't see Andrea as a new Amity, in fact she might be more of a Pacifica Northwest type of character (she was "trained" by her parents to be a powerful person, but deep down, she wants to be a normal girl). Her view of being the school's Queen Bee is too simple, and Molly's presence could be seen to her as a menace; she wants to be in control because it gives her status. Libby, on the other hand is more of a down-to-earth person that can help Molly being a more "real" person, and Molly can help her regain her happiness. Also, I'm happy to see Disney shows with more characters of different nationalities. After Anne (Thailand) and Luz (Dominican Republic) building a path, Molly McGee joins them as another American-Thai protagonist. I hope, one day in the future, we get to see a character in a show of American Portuguese-Portugal nationality.

I think Molly and andrea should be classmates/rival together because they do not look like Luz and Amity. And, Molly and Andrea Could bond together, and make a Friendship or Frenemies.

I haven't watched a lot of clips when it came to this show, so after watching this and the first episode itself on KZfaq, i did get Tiny Tina vibes from Molly, then looking it, its the same voice actress, Ashly Burch, as she has done lots of voice work before in games and shows

I really like the animation and the main plot, though the thing that kinda sucks is the fact, that we don't have any mysteries yet. No unknown new worlds or stuff like this, we know whats going on. Welp, it might be really cool in the future anyway!
