Andrea was queen in this episode. This makes me wonder where her and Molly’s friendship will go from there in the next season and if she’ll eventually be the next in line to find out about Scratch

11:37 Even Scratch and Libby were shocked over the fact Andrea actually called Molly her "best friend."😂😂 I can only imagine seeing a triple threat battle for Molly in the future. Theirs and Molly's reactions tells the story here. But like Andrea or not, i have to give respect out for her. She really saved the Mcgees' lives. And what she said about Molly helping her in the past is true.

This episode and the episode after this is really what is making me view this show as something kinda like Amphibia. Lighthearted, yet when it wants to play with your emotions, it knows where to hit.

Speaking of Amphibia, fun fact, i think Molly’s grandmother, Nin, lives in Los Angeles (im not completly sure, but i think i saw it in episode 1, the map that Molly shows to Scratch) so she could be part of Anne’s Thai community (if this show also shares universe with Amphibia and TOH)

@@ordinarygamer2655 true , but I personally think a finale truly determines how good it is , because beforehand , you have tons of episodes to work with , but once its the finale , you won’t have a second chance. It either makes or breaks your show because the finale is the conclusion , meaning you can’t undo what happens , nor can you screw it up because its the final send off. Amphibia for example , had good season finales and most importantly, a good series finale. It brought things full circle and established a beautiful message. SVTFOE though… its finale made more loop holes , explained nothing and made the dumb decision of merging 2 completely different worlds and since that was the finale , they can’t undo that. It’ll just be the last thing SVTFOE will ever produce and it was horrible. Not to mention that S4 of SVTFOE was terrible as a whole.

Andrea actions at the end of this episode come off as an huge surprise to me. Her of all people in Brighton helping Molly and her family at the end was the incredibly kind hearted of her and show great character development from her and I was confused by her saying that Molly was her "friend" was a shocker to me, but I'll hold about it until next episode.

I felt like this special was actually the season finale and the show was just coming back, but this was really great. But now that the curse is broken, i can only imagine what's gonna happen now for Molly and Scratch.

I just like how real and relatable these episodes are that not a lot of animated shows tackled with. First it was the Gig Pig episode and also this episode that emphasize the struggles of money. Man l just love this show for having a realistic representation but also having that Disney charm to it.

I know a lot of people say this is a character redemption for Andrea, but besides episode 2 Andrea was never an antagonist or an asshole, she was only doing her own thing in the background, but something i agree is that she could be a very interesting addition for the actual main cast (becase she was a side character, dont try to denied it), so i have good expectations for her character in Season 2, also, I like her character a lot more now because she likes geodes

Andrea saving the day is a great twist and showed she's really a great person deep down. She earn that respect! To be honest, I thought the episode will end with the Ghost Council finds out that Brighton is becoming better. The McGee family being saved by Andrea and the townspeople would be the breaking point and they'll take action against Scratch. Maybe in the next episode.

This is a awesome video and I love these episodes with scratch helping out molly's family plus to see andrea helping out to keep molly and her family from moving is a shock so I'm glad scratch found he's got molly as a true friend! 💕👻✌🤣❤

I pointed this out in a video that just showed the clip, but you might’ve noticed that scratch’s symbol in the logo wasn’t moving. I initially thought it was an animation error until I realized the “for sale” sign being pounded down along with it which really caught me off guard.

The curse is broken, but Scratch can easily fix it by resummoning it.

Or maybe he can summon a more friendly curse so he is not called when he doesn’t wants to, but he really should curse Molly again because of the council, that curse can be a plot armor for him

The curse isn't necessary at all now (except for when it comes in handy whenever its time for the final ep) since they're actual friends now. Let me put it this way: Irl, I'm an ambivert, but mostly an extrovert, and I've pretty much befriended anyone I've ever met (except for the most annoying guy at my class, who I befriended at first but not anymore when he kinda started bullying me -_-). This year I easily befriended the two shyest/quietest girls in my class when we were on a group doing PE (because we didn't have any more partners) but then we just became actual friends (and from then on I realized the quietest girl is a pretty fast runner). So basically, the curse is that PE partner assignment/group, I'm Molly and those girls are Scratch. Even after the assignments were done, we were still friends and we started to talk and hang out a lil' bit more.

Scratch feeling like the babysitter of the family when everyone else is busy is pretty hilarious!😂 Now he must know how his mom tried to make his meals and house duties when Scratch was alive, hehe (I'm jumping too far away because we still haven't seen Scratch's family in the series, but you know what I mean).

I'm probably a broken record at this point. My respect and love for Andrea skyrocketed thanks to this episode. Some of my favourite characters in media are people who are disliked by the protagonist and or are hostile towards them and then they gain character development and they slowly remove the stick up their ass... Knowing how Disney makes these characters I knew there was more to Andrea than meets the eye. She is like this because of her father but she is still her own person and that character growth made her understand that she needs to be her own person. Mr Davenport probably needed his arm twisted to help but at the end the day he's not doing this for Molly and her family she's doing this for his self image and his daughter which is character development in itself.
