its nice to see that people actually still use the Roland SC-88 Pro as its quite a powerful rompler with more sounds in it than the base 128 capital tones that GM can provide

It is a great little box. I've been experimenting with with Midi CC control which opens up even more possibilities.

You just write the song on PC then send it over MIDI.

@@jimbotron70 hey thanks! I ended up getting an sc88 pro in the time since posting this comment and I’m controlling it with a hardware sequencer, the Squarp Pyramid. The sounds that come out of this thing are really clean!

I love this style of midi sound reminds me so much of the 90's as I played tones of PC computer games and was always upgrading my sound card but I wish i had the money for a dedicated Roland kit as that was the dream when I was a kid in the 90's , games that took advantage of Roaland hardware was leaps ahead of any internal sound cards even the best sound blasters for midi playback just couldnt compete, keep up the work man this tunes stunning I could imagine this in a solid 90's PC or Amiga.

I used to make a lot of songs using virtual sound canvas. My first synth back in 2000s. Second one was yamaha syxg50 and than I purchased a yamaha ymf724 soundcard to make music. I love midi. Sad so little people still enjoy playing with it. It is unfair that midi is abandoned and forgotten. Can you share a midi file? I love it
