If you read the Books it is written at the beginning that it is around 3000 years before the skywalker saga

What's also interesting about Malgus is that despite being a human from Dromund Kaas, born and raised in an extremely racist society where everyone not human or Sith Pureblood was inferior, Malgus grew to be very progressive and his Empire would've allowed aliens equal opportunities should they prove capable.

He also killed his own wife (the Twilek in Decieved) because she was a weakness he needed to expunge from himself.

@@Guardian582 the Sith Warrior is his or her own person that you play Malus is a Lord you can work with, the twilek you see is completely different from vette. In my opinion, that makes a Sith warrior stronger than him, because the warrior realizes that love is not a weakness and can be a source of strength. (I played a light side warrior)

@@alithanar8 Sith Warrior is stronger because it's a player character, Malgus while powerful is only an NPC and a boss fight so player characters have to beat him.

@@mckenzie.latham91 no it actually was true. Malgus wasn't aligned with the sith empire at the time and as such had no motivation to be preaching their doctrine; in fact, quite the opposite. He was jaded and resented both sides and what he was saying logically, canonically, and truthfully was valid for both sides.

It wasn't really "suddenly" between the first and the 3rd trailer alone are like atleast 10 Years and between the First and the last it's actually about 60+ Years (Malgus is over 80 at that Point) So yeah, it still shows a lot of Malgus life but it's not like all that happened within like a Year or so

In vaders case it was his guantlet(which is heavily protected). The novel doesn't state he used the force to block it.

@@iio_moon It was in one of the EU novels (I think 'I, Jedi'?) where Luke was discussing the Tutaminis ability and used Vader's ability to block blasters with his hand as an example.

Tutaminis was also what Yoda did to absorb Force Lightning from Dooku and Sidious. In the case of blocking a freaking lightsaber *thrust*, that takes some serious concentration, so the fact that Satele was able to just whip that out in the midst of a battle with a Sith like Malgus shows why becomes the Grandmaster of the Jedi Order.

And yet it was still barely enough! In the Diary of Gnost Dural (part of the Collector's Edition of SWTOR) she makes comments how she could barely keep this up and would have 100% died without Jace Malcolm's help! She also claims that she had always feared ever facing Malgus again after their first meeting in Return and looking back she can barely believe they not only survived but even won on Alderman It just shows what kind of Monster Darth Malgus is that even the ever calm Satele Shan fears him and despite being so skilled and having abilitys like that, she can barely believe that they won against Malgus

Considering he was talking during the 8 times he was referred to as Malgus. Worst part about "react channels" are the ones where they talk over everything instead of pausing to talk. Never go with him to a movie theater.

I mean, that's how they get you IN. It's not really what they're about though, very appeal to the disillusioned type recruitment, but then they throw you into the grinder like everyone else.

Except by that point, he's long realized that both the Jedi AND the Sith are garbage alone and that if the Force is to have balance, they have to work together. He spent a LOT of time, alone, with Satele and they like each other. You can just as well do good deeds despite being ruthless as you can do bad deeds with good intentions.

@@TheKillmeifucan Darth Bane. 1 To avoid sith to keep killing themselves over and over and by so becoming weaker; 2 concentrating all dark power in only two sith Lords, one Master and one Apprentice, till the apprentice might become strong enough to become the master (killing him) and taking other as it's apprentice - so they could become stronger and stronger and once again rule the galaxy, as Sidious and Vader did but only for 19 years or so. Them came Disney and fugged all up.

You do NOT want SWTOR-level characters in movies and series trust me, as cool as they are they are horrendously overpowered Valkorion alone makes Palpatine look like a 4 years old child playing with plastic figurines in a toddler's room

@@xGoodOldSmurfehx The intricacies of the force are vast and limitless. Sith during those days were formidable even the Jedi. Sheev Palpatine isn't special even when he went to Korriban in the valley of the Dark Lords the Sith Spirits didn't like Sheev because he wasn't even close to how they are. Jedi and Sith later on were pretty much limited, only sticking to a few things hence why during the Clone Wars era The Jedi order had a lot of issues
