To answer your question, the Twi'lek (chick with the blue tentacles) is Darth Malgus's slave who he ended up marrying so that's why she sticks around. As a long time star wars fan I love rewatching these animations, happy to see new people enjoying them as well.

Those twins are named Arcann (the dude in the white robe) and Thexan (the dude in the black robe) and yes it’s a separate empire called “The Eternal Empire” And the dad’s name is Valkorion. The little girl in the trailer “Betrayed” is named Vaylin, who is the sister of Arcann and Thexan, and the mom is named Senya Tirall

Vaylin at full power, even Valkorian fear her. As we all who play the game know. The cinematics are far better than everything Disney created combined. Those who haven't played the game think it's Palpatine (Darth Sidious is the strongest), which is utter bullshit. Sidious is like a Padawan compared to Valkorion. The only one who is truly immortal is Valkorian. Unlimited power.

She absorbed the lightsaber attack with the Tutaminis. She expelled this absorbed energy, hence the hadoken or kamehameha.

@@trainsworth someone might have already mentioned it but tutaminis is the same technique used by yoda when he absorbs lightning in the movies. Its such a difficult technique that only people of yodas level can really use it

It still amazes me that the mmo exist with an amazing ongoing story that would make great shows and movies and yet disney still released that trilogy.

The first three cinematics are the beginning of the war, years later around the mid point, and the sacking of the republic capital world Coruscant forcing the republic to sign a treaty that halted the war and began the 'peace' (cold war). The female jedi and trooper are the same in both & go on to be the jedi grandmaster and republic's leading military general while the bald sith is the same in all three from apprentice to sith lord to darth and one of the most powerful sith of his time.

@@trainsworth The timeline for the first three cinematics are as follows: Return occurred in 3681 BBY when the Sith returned from a 1000 year absence. Hope occurred 14 years later in 3667 when after the Sith Empire attacked Alderaan. Deceived took place 2 years later. The fourth and fifth trailers, Sacrifice and Betrayed, take place 29 and 32 years later in 3636 and 3630 respectively. The final trailer, Disorder, takes place 3 years later in 3627. So Malgus would have aged 54 years since the first trailer. Hope that helps.

You'll very quickly learn that SWTOR is basically space game of thrones, but without a bunch of deaths.. well.. until you reach Onslaught ;)

eh there is still plenty of death. On the Imperial side playing as DS as the agent and at least one of the Sith classes you can allow massacres and genocide iirc.

Ive played many hours of this game and finished most stories. There are 8 different stories, 4 for the republic and 4 for empire. Throughout the first 3 videos you see most classes you can play other than the imperial agent. other than that i wont spoil anything just incase you do play it because it is actually amazing story wise and the expansions are so good and also if you sub for even only 1 month you get all expansions for free forever. If you ever played Star wars knights of the old republic 1 and 2. youll see alot of cool little... and big easter eggs from those games that take place i think 300 years before star wars the old republic (MMO). This game also takes place roughly 4000 years before the original 3 movies

@trainsworth yeah it's one of my favourite games story wise. Game play is a bit ehh but I got over it quickly because it's actually really chill to play and the story is just captivating, especially later on. This era of Jedi and Sith are by far the most powerful (except vader and sidious due to george lucas stating sidious is the most powerful and vader being made by the force) considering they were properly at war but you'll learn all about it. And yeah 4000 years is a massive jump but it gives the Republic plenty of time to get where they were in the prequels and the sith to establish the rule of two 1000 years before the prequels due to always overthrowing each other haha

@@trainsworth this days there is good freedom like the light saber with laser blades on each end (what the jedi lady was using) was jedi shadow/sith assassin class weapon but classes were turned in to combat styles so u can have that weapon and combat style with Jedi knight and sith warrior and if u play as a sith that doesn't u half to be evil, same goes for overall empire faction, u may want to either change or destroy it from the inside, like trojan horse

He disrespect the great game, That he didn't know that SWTOR is far better and far bigger that his bellowed WoW. Not only the story lines are far better, but the game play too. WoW is childrish game full of bots and cheatters. They use addons without them they cant play. To play SWTOR you need actually to use your brains, not just to watch what weakaura tells you.

@@trainsworth I meant no disrespect either. If you play the game I am sure you will become a great Sith Lord. :) The stories of Sith Inquisitorand Id Jedi Knight are magnificent. It will be a bit difficult for you because you are used to playing WoW, which has tons of CC's in every class. SWTOR classess you have one CC and one dispel. The rest is damage and survival skills. You have no adons, you have nothing to show you what to do or show you what your opponent is doing. You can see what powers he uses, but that's all you can see. That's why there are no children in the game. Not everyone can play PvP because its very hard. Even for experienced players who play 11-12 years. Try it, i hope u love the game :)

Far better and far bigger than WoW? I don't know about that. But it is easier to keep up with the story, that's kinda the whole deal with SWTOR. But much like retail WoW, it's becoming more and more like a singleplayer experience in an MMO environment. Back in the days, there was no way to solo 4-man content. The gameplay can't be better than WoW because it's essentially a ripoff. It's very easy for WoW players to get into SWTOR because they are so similar. And about bots, cheaters and addons, well not enough people care about SWTOR for those things to corrupt it. It's a wonder it hasn't gone offline already, there is no playerbase left.

@@Sandlund93 thanks for the insight! I was thinking about giving it a try just because of the passion behind it but I more than likely would just get a general understanding of the game and then continue elsewhere. Thanks!
