I just wish Streamlight would make the Super Siege in a 4x18650 version. I like the long runtime and the option of swapping batteries as needed.

I have 2 of each of these in the original models. Had them on some pretty rough trips out in the desert. They are all still going strong. And very excellent lights like all Streamlight products. Used them in everything from our 16x16 Army frame tents, to portable kitchens, and latrines. And bouncing around in the back of my HUMVEE. I love these lights! Highly recommend! Of course the original models came with D cells and AA cells. Which was just fine with me. But these new ones with rechargeable batteries look pretty slick! With a small solar panel you can charge by day and run them by night! Mine spent the last year in a gear box. Watching this video decided to pull them out. Lit right up! Still working great!

Love the shot show reviews from home. Can never get enough of your dog's Only bad things I've ever found out about boxers is that they don't live long My last one made it to 8 years old😭

Already have a Super Siege as well as 2 regular Siege lanterns and 3 minis. I’m addicted to Streamlight products. These lights are awesome, for camping/hunting as well as power outages they are perfect. I’m awaiting the Siege X now, hopefully they ship soon !

Ive got i think a regular 3aa siege. On hi the button light is orange now. Im sure its a battery level alert. Does it only turn orange on hi, or will it eventually turn to orange on med and low as it runs down?

I used to be a Surefire Guy when I used to get issues them on my Special Forces ODAs but now, I am a big Streamlight guy! I tried the TLR-1HL 800 lumens on my Glocks & I was sold! I have since gotten 3 of the TLR-1HLs w the rifle kits and put them on my 3 ARs. I have upgraded to the new TLR-7 500 lumens for my Glocks since they are more compact! Can’t do any better than these for the quality & price points!! Since then, I have ventured out & tried: Enduro Pro headlamp, Bandit headlamp, Super siege lantern, Mini siege lantern, Keymates, Protac-HL 1000 lumen handheld & others. The more I get from Streamlight, the more I am impressed. I got the lanterns in Aug 2018, just in time to use them for Hurricane Florence that hit us in Fayetteville, NC in Sep 2018! I can’t say enough great things about their products. I am more than happy w every item so far & I look forward to getting even more. RLTW DOL GRS

Love the size and features of the small one. The battery is nice to. The 18650 is my battery of choice for several reasons.

Dont even need to watch the vid. I own 2 of the original Siege DD coyotes. They rock! My folks commandeered one for their boat adventures and it has worked flawlessly for them. Buy one. The Siege line is great...bombproof! Ok...Ill watch now. :)

The Super seige concept where you can recharge your phone is really only needed if you're doing some long distance hiking away from a vehicle.

That 'fluttering' is pulse width modulation. It will affect people dependent on their sensitivity... I was never sensitive to it until one day, suddenly, I was. Most people complain about headache or eyestrain. For me it causes my eyes to lose focus. Once you're sensitive, that's it. It's forever. Best advise? Avoid this shit in the first place, even if you don't perceive it, your retina does and eventually you will likely develop issues.

For the money they're charging it's atrocious that they're using PWM circuits instead of a regulated current circuit, especially in 2019. Fenix had perfectly regulated current circuits running 2AA lights for 50+ hours on LOW, without the PWM flashing more than 10 years ago at this point. Not sure why Streamlight made this choice.

Its a myth that red light preserves night vision. It's all about intensity, dim yellow or white light does the same. Red looks cool though, especially on camera!

So the red lights are a waste? My personal experience proves it works to some degree. Maybe any color other than white would have the same benefit Idk. My point was that a company like Streamlight isn't going to offer an option based on a myth.
