nice one mate. even though HONDA has changed their looks, performance, interior big time over the years ( apart from not too sure about the Transmission & Driving side electronic WINDOW problem just like JAGUAR ) lmao since i have owned a few of both brand and always faces the same problems in every second car. but still would love to know about these cars....

A 1967-70 2000GT...! Very rare and exotic. There are very few decent road tests of a 2000GT. What a great collection of red Toyotas Mat has been lucky enough to meet and been allowed to drive - the hand-built 2000GT is just special!

They performed amazingly right off the lot compared to other sports cars of its day. Now building them into true racecars and they hold competitive against the heavy hitters like time attack evos and 240s

BMW is recalling the Toyota Supra for seat belt guide loops with improper welds. Too bad back in the '60's or even today; Toyota/Yamaha wouldn't mass produce the 2000 GT like the Datsun Z.

@@santa_pepsi I think the one knock I have against the Gen Coupe is the styling (for both generations). It resembles the other cars within Hyundai's lineup, which keeps it from being it's own pure and unique design. Cars like the GT86 and Miata are more pure in this sense.

GT86 had lots of Toyota involvement with the chassis, gearbox etc. It was a joint project with Subaru. The Supra on the otherhand is a BMW Z4 with different body work.

I am really much neutral but Toyota had their part on developing the engine itself, they made sure that bmw made an engine that fits to their reliability grade, so that also means that bmw z4 also has greater reliability than other bmw sports cars.

My vote is for the ST185 Celica. Owned an AE86 and while it's good as what it is and I understand the deep roots with drifting, at the end of the day I'm more of a rally fan. That's why I have the ST185's older brother. With some tweaks(especially in the suspension) it's an amazing car to drive.

Great car to cruise around like an old lady in or put your foot down and rev it to hell and back. I’m sorry, but the 2000GT is so much more special than the Supra. The Supra is mainly famous due to Fast and Furious... and without F&F, it would be way less popular.

Exactly.....before the fast and furious, the MK4 A80 Supra was a POOR seller. The highest selling Supra to date is the MK3 A70 Supra, which how come that Supra ain't featured on here????

J B this is my opinion and I don’t mean to offend anyone which is hard in today’s society but I thinks the R8 has the best sounding V10 due to its loud, hollow sounds, I don’t rlly like high pitched screeches as much but the Lfa still sounds very sexy

Love your show classy and cool. Only one thing wrong with this particular video is your missing the rally icon Toyota Celica GT4 st205 Twin entry turbo. Japanese spec car, in my opinion the greatest Toyota sports coupe. 4x4 with around 270bhp true bhp out performs all standard Toyota sports cars including the supra. Would love to see this car reviewed as it's the ultimate gt4

Yes it did. The engine is tuned differently on the Supra compared to the Z4 iirc.
