New (to me) Tobacco/Plug Cutter from 1882 plus pressing and plug results

Күн бұрынEric at EMC_Custom_Cobs found a tobacco cutter and sent it to me. A little restoration work and a new blade and the 1882 made plug cutter is back in business.
Also showing off the pressed plugs Thomas @Tinkers-Pipes produced. Plug versions of Gairloch, Connemera, and Redwick. Also using a Biltong cutter that Jay Furman recommended to me.
Lastly, working on test pressings, using a pasta press, and first attempt at Navy blends. Coming soon Connemera Navy and Colwyn Bay Navy. Plus test pressing Port Meirion (VaPer blend) and EMC's Berserkr.

This is Fred. Amazing restoration on the Tobacco Cutter. I am curious to the difference in taste, and flavor of pressed, verses ribbon cut.

Good afternoon sir! I am a tobacco and pipe enthusiast and I recently found and purchased an antique c.1890 R-J-R Brown's Mule Chewing Tobacco Plug Cigar Cutter. I am awaiting its arrival and wanted to know if you could give me any tips on the new equipment. Mainly purchasing and fitting a new blade to it if necessary because it is coming to me refurbished but I’m not sure how well it’s going to cut.
