Dear Joseph, I am a native Persian, and I just took my TOEFL iBT test, and received the amazing grade of 112 (R:28, L:29, S:28, W:27). I achieved such grade by totally self-studying the exam using your videos and a few other KZfaq channels. But without a doubt, your videos helped me the most to gain a proper mentality, and not to waste time on unrealistic templates. I couldn't be more grateful. Thank you for your help and support.

Just received my TOEFL score and I got 30/30 in speaking. All thanks to your videos!!! I saw your video two days before my exam and it really helped me so much.

This was so helpful! I have my TOEFL in 3 days and speaking is the only area in which I falter a bit because I get obsessed with the timer. I hope after watching this series I'll be able to improve on the same. Thanks :) Update: The speaking section videos of this channel saved my life! I got 29/30 in the Speaking section and 119 overall. I was really nervous about this section because I wasn't doing too well in it initially. I had started my prep for the exam a week before and watching these videos helped me train myself really well. My advice to anyone taking the test - take this channel's videos seriously and do not forward them at all even though they are long. Pay attention and apply every single thing that Joe says because he really knows what he's talking about. Thanks again to Notefull! :))

TOEFL feedback: Date: 07 September 2019 - Place: France. Reading: 72 minutes. 4 passages. 10 questions each. Listening: 2 parts: Part1: 1 conversation and 1 lecture with one timing. Then, when the time is out the second part begins. Part2: 1 conversation (or maybe 2, I don’t remember) and 1 lecture with one timing. Speaking: 4 tasks Task 1: Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? “Parents should prevent their children of making mistakes”. (It is not exactly like that word by word, but this is the main idea). Task2: Campus announcement (reading) + Conversation between 2 students. Task3: A reading article about a scientific topic (about “Ecological release”) + A lecture about the same topic. Task4: A lecture about a business strategy. Writing: Since I took it in France, the keyboard was AZERTY not QWERTY (I was really disappointed by that and I spent some of my time to correct the spelling mistakes due to the keyboard). Also, since it is a desktop, the keyboard is not as smooth as a laptop keyboard (That’s my feeling). Integrated writing 1: 3 minutes to read an article about the three main reasons that cause the decrease of Koalas’ population. Then, listening to a lecture that gives solutions to each of the three causes stated in the article. Then, you have 20 minutes to summarize the article and the reading. Integrated writing 2: 30 minutes to write 300 words about the following topic: A lot of first year students have bad study habits. Some people in the university think that all first-year students should take a course on good study habits. Others think that it is not necessary. What is your opinion? Give details and examples.

Template : 46:33 60 second speech (with notes) 52:42 1st and 2nd: The article is about coevolution, which is defined as occurring when two species intermingle so much that they begin to influence each other's evolution, to maintain their connection. 3rd : And the professor provides an example of fruit eating birds in the tropical rainforest and the trees that have this fruit they consume. 4th : The professor explains that these birds cannot easily consume the fruit because the seeds are so large. So, the birds evolved larger and wider bills so they can maintain this connection with the trees and the fruit. The professor then explains that these birds spread the seeds as waste as they fly, which secures the next generation of these plants. So, they have adapted because the birds can see very well, so the trees evolved fruits that are more brightly coloured to maintain the connection. 5th : And that's how the professor uses this example to illustrate coevolution. 30 second speech (without notes) 58:59 The article is about coevolution which is defined as occurring when two species intermingle so much that they influence each other’s evolution to maintain their connection. The professor illustrates this by saying that a bird evolved a wider bill to maintain the relationship with the tree that has the fruit it consumes. And the tree evolved a more brightly coloured fruit to attract the bird to maintain that relationship.

Score: 102 R=25 L=28 S=23 W=26 I only studied 2 days and scored 102 on the test. Hope the amount of days I put into studying makes my scores look good. I mean you have way more days, so you could get way more better scores on your test. All I used was Notefull videos for studying; I only used free content. Btw, speaking could have gone way more better, but the open question (#1 question) was about view of plastic surgery on society. So, I messed it up there. Edit: I forgot to share a very crucial tip. 80% of your score depends on how good notes you take. Listening is everywhere - in writing, listening (the most obvious part), and speaking. So, your 3 sections depend on how good notes you take by listening to the presentation.

Special thanks to you sir. After struggling with speaking section and getting btw 22 and 24, I finally took my time to learn the strategy through this 1hr study with you and it helped me realize the mistake i had been making, and that is ‘not understanding first but trying to write every single word spoken by the professor, then finally struggling to make sense of what i wrote during the response preparation’. I finally got my dream score of R26 L23 S27 W27. I was a little distracted by the instructor at my test center during the listening section so i missed some very important information but thankfully i scaled through the requirements for listening. So once again sir, thanks for all your help to me and everyone that needs the Toefl test to move forward in their lives.

Hi rafia congratulations for good score ..could you please help me with independent essays how did u prepare them ....are there any specific list of topics
@rafianisat62634 жыл бұрын
@@varsha_raj Hey Varsha! Thank you so much. I actually did not spend too much time preparing for the writing section as the topics can vary a lot. As you already know, they will give you a statement and will ask if you agree or disagree with it. It could range from "Parents should be strict with their kids" to "focusing too much on reducing carbon emissions is bad as it can slow down economic growth". So I just looked up some videos on TOEFL essay writing to understand what they expect and then just chalked up the pattern I wanted to follow for writing. Here are a few points I emphasized on: 1) I made sure my essay exceeded 500 words. My essay had 5 paragraphs. 1 for intro, 3 for the body (each paragraph for each argument I made in support of my view on the given statement) and 1 for conclusion. 2) I did not use too many fancy words. Focused more on keeping my entire essay free of grammatical errors and spelling mistakes. 3) Each of my arguments had a statement which I tried to prove with examples in later sentences. 4) Most of the statements they will give are actually relative and a wise person will be in the neutral zone and argue that it depends on circumstances. But don't be neutral in TOEFL. Make sure to specifically pick either agree or disagree and provide arguments accordingly. I hope I could help! have a good day!
