HI Michelle, It's a pleasure to watch you, you are always so cheerful and bright. I can't wait to see what you make on your inkle loom. I I have the inklette, the mini version, very handy for weaving on the subway. I've made many collars for fundraisers for rescue dog groups, and a friend makes matching trim to use for hanging loops for the dishtowels she weaves on her floor loom.

OMG, that's a great idea! My partner wants me to weave a dog collar for our rescue pup, but doing them as fund raisers is BRILLIANT! I may have to steal that idea in the future :) x

I can't wait! I took mine out ifthe vloset 3 years ago to try some tapestry weaving techniques before i bought a tapestry loom..! And have made up some funky "yarn" for texture in my wallhangings...nothing online for that either...my mom woukd oay me, in the early 70s 1 . 🇨🇦 dollar per strap/trim for purses and jackets. My dad made it for her..i have it..memories of the past😊

I bought the smaller version a couple of months ago to see if I liked it. I have been making straps for bags and have enjoyed it so far. Im excited for you and your new toy!

"Here's a hint!" INKLE LOOM in large letters. I wish I knew what happened to my late mother's inkle loom (I think she made it herself). Given away before a move? Stolen? I'm definitely tempted by inkle looms, there are a lot of applications for woven bands, so they're not just "toy" looms. As I understand it (correct me if I'm wrong) you can also do card weaving on them, which opens up a whole new world of possibilities.

Haha, well, I'm not known for being subtle! Yes, I've seen card weaving - looks scary though! Maybe I'll try that out some time too :)
