I think the future will be bright,under the new infrastructure that is being built by ‘INEOS’ and mainly Sir Jimmy boy. Who was the one that made this happen. ITK from someone inside INEOS and a member of my family. Who knows Sir J on a friendly level, anyway enough of that. Yet there was a moment when the GLAZERS lawyers were playing silly burgers and certain other members of the INEOS board had, had enough and wanted to pull out, as they were wasting their time. I know Sir J put his foot down and said, that they were going to play the game for as long as it took to get on the board at United. The main reason apart from wanting to make United no 1 again, equally it was to get the GLAZERS OUT of our club and Manchester full stop. There are big massive plans in the pipeline. I swear the stuff I just said was told to me about round 3 of the silly bidding process. 100% ✊🏼 to SJR and UTR&UTP UTD4EVER ❤🤍🖤 1:49

Joe, you missed the opportunity to ask him why the Daily Mail puts utter drivel into print for 99% of their stories. Has Rashord gone to the shops recently? Has Luke Shaw got a new air freshner in his car? You've had some decent press/reporters on, but you've taken a serious drop in quality by getting the Daily Mail in.

As an American and a NY Yankees fan of over 50 yrs, I can offer some perspective on the stadium situation. The Yankees Stadium is to baseball what Old Trafford is to football and when the ownership changed hands in the early 1970's they decided to renovate the stadium. It worked out pretty well and most fans liked the idea of keeping the old stadium and giving it a "facelift". By the early 2000's it was clear that the stadium couldn't give the current fan base the "experience" they wanted when going to the ballpark. Things like luxury boxes, more and varied eateries and bars, places to hangout in groups,etc. So the ownership built a new stadium and tore the old one down. As an old school type of fan, I think the new stadium doesn't have the charm of the old one. The new one certainly has more amenities and for the newer generation of fans that's more important. I would think, that if money isn't and issue, that the more likely move would be to build a new stadium. Just my 2 cents worth.

@@KratosIsSick They can and should work on both at the same time. At a club the size of United there are many moving parts. Top clubs have capable people spread throughout the departments and get things done. Seems United have lacked in this for some time. It also seems that Ineos has come into this with a plan of action. Hopefully, they right the ship.

@@ianrichards1839 wtf are you talking about? How have you come to that the conclusion. The Daily Mail is full of lies, race baits and is a damn right discredible newspaper. It isn't even allowed as a source when publishing at university or in academia, and Wikipedia also doesn't allow it. Newspapers job is to report the news, without bias. Interviewing a journalist from the DM isn't worth listening to. Same as the Sun, Talksport etc. Nothing to do with the Guardian or what newspaper Ratcliffe reads.

@WayofWyrd Ineos could give @mufc £2b towards Old trafford and new training ground and then sponsor the naming rights to say £75m a season then receive another 30% of the Class A+B shares taking SJR to 58% and he gets the majority shares and then its only a matter of time to buy the Glazers out fully 👍 People should know every £ Ineos pump into MUFC in investment of infrastructure does not negatively effect FFP or profit and sustainability. Imagine the amounts mufc will make if Old trafford was rebuilt and 100,000 were spending on tickets drink food merchandise ect. Wow 👌

I don't get the 'issue' with South stand. We've been building sky scrapers on pillars for 100 years, so pillars in the opposite side of the track and trains go under. Seems pretty straight forward to me. We've also been sending trains trough tunnels for nearly 200 years. So a more expensive option, but one that probably doesnt add too much to the final build cost relatively speaking, is putting the train through a below ground tunnel under the stand. Seems like there are some pretty simple engineering solutions to me!?

It is not about engineering; it is about security. What if an accident happen underground? What if there is a terrorist attack? What would that happen to the people in the stand? The council will not approve a plan that involves security issues.

No way Southgate picks Mainoo. Gareth is painfully predictable if he is nothing else. With regard to Rashford, I wonder who was the worse influence on the other, Rashford or Sancho? I think it might be time to move him on as well, while his value is still high. He seems miserable in this club and a change might be a fresh start.

Recent reports said a new stadium would cost £1.2 billion. How has it gone upto to £2 billion in a matter of weeks?

the 1.2bn figure was to redevelop the current OT stadium , the £2bn mentioned is the figure for a completely new stadium 100 yards from OT (materials in constructions, inflation and Brexit are the reasons why it costs so much). The new non camp costs £1.4bn just to renovate in comparison.

There is no such thing that they 'over achieved' last year, IF they achieved it (which they did), then its just 'they achieved' because that level of achievement was possible with this team. So this year compared to last year, they are 'under achieving'

You have to remember the 300M will be transferred into new B and A shares. If Glazers comes in 18 months with new bids, he will get payed for those new. As I remember.

I’d much rather we fix the problems at old Trafford and modernise it. It would be nice if we finished the south stand if anything but I’m strongly against a new stadium. The amount of history on that ground can’t be sacrificed. You can watch a match from 60 years ago and feel like you know the feel of the place.

If a big Premiere League club tries to buy an up and coming Brazilian winger the price will automatically be triple that of what an obscure Ligue 2 club would have to pay for such a player. No great mystery in how that deal came about.

Building a new stadium they might get more tax cuts from the city rather than re-modelling the old stadium. This way it would provide more employment which the city would be in favour.

Rashford is like every film star that has all the success and fame. Not everyone can handle it - it's harder to deal with than people realise. Money clearly doesn't guarantee happiness and constantly being in the public eye is a tremendous pressure. Plus, you never really know who you can trust. You end up feeling isolated, then your form goes so the one thing you thought could rely on has deserted you too. AND, 26 years old is still pretty young.

This isn't the old United lol. We appointed a new CEO (from City too lmao) and these journos had no sniff of the story, a Glazer appointment like this (probably wouldnt even happen in the first place) would have been leaked 6 months before we even make an approach would've been plastered everywhere. Putting Lille players in the thumbnail is also some cheap clickbaiting man. Fabrizio and Ornstein also have some personal agendas but dude only ever posts stuff after getting confirmation about the move actually happening, days before it does. I trust them over these clowns any day. Also, I wasn't hyped about INEOS but I'm legit impressed with what they've done so far. Hopefully this continues and we are run like an actual serious football club.

If most of out team was sold, I wouldn't care. AWB is a good RB and can defend but can't go forward effectively, Dalot can go forward but isn't the best defensively. Malacia and shaw are good but always seem injured. Onana causes palpitations, has been average and his distribution seems barely above average, bayindir done good. Varane and Martinez are world class but always injured. Mainoo and garnacho have been brilliant. Amrabat hasn't lived up to the reparation, casemiro is regularly out, Bruno and rashford haven't been performing as they have done, Anthony hasn't shown he's top prem level. Hojlund has started to hit form...

I think the area that is earmarked for a whole new ground, should be used to build a stadium for the women’s team. That the men’s team could use, while there’s a whole new stadium built on the Old Trafford ground. So it would be the exact same location as OT yet it would be a new state of the art ground that hopefully would incorporate parts of OT. At the moment the state of OT’s foundation’s I don’t think would be passed safe to build a 100,999 ❤️🤍🖤✊🏼 17:34
