In my case it was a allergy to cows milk products, I started using plant based milk and in a few weeks I noticed a change . My ear would contain fluid and It opened up because the swelling decreased. And now a few years later , I ‘m a happy person. No more nose spray, no more ear infection and no more headaches.

Try raw garlic, and mushroom compounds- it makes a world of difference. Eating raw garlic with you food everyday, for about three weeks will heal your body. I eat about 8 cloves of garlic with every meal for a duration of several weeks.
@treasuretrovel3816
@treasuretrovel3816 3 жыл бұрын
@@elisabethjean The garlic compounds including Allicin absolutely are absorbed by the gut and circulates to all the tissues. We know this because of the garlic smell that comes from people who eat a lot of garlic. These compounds are anti bacterial but perhaps more important for most people is that they are anti fungal. The new theory is that a lot of chronic sinusitis (which I have) is fungal in origin. As the doctor states in this video, a chronic cycle of infection and inflammation gets set up. The cure is to address the problem from both angles and reduce the inflammation and get rid of the infection. Too much antibacterial antibiotic use can help the pathogenic fungus grow and that is probably the case for most chronic sinusitis sufferers. In addition to using garlic and oregano it is very important to lower one's serum resting glucose and spiking serum glucose. Go ketogenic and get your A1C(glycosylated hemoglobin) levels low and see if that does not help dramatically. Lowing one's sugar levels will dramatically drop general inflammation as well and so improving the diet is critical. A third component for curing ourselves is to identify food allergies. Many people are allergic to wheat. They are allergic to grass pollens and have seasonal air borne allergies but never figure out that eating grass proteins is not a good idea. Many people think that if they don't have a food allergy if they don't have a anaphylactic reaction. On the contrary, most people have low level, chronic irritation from eating wheat and it affects the sinuses directly when chewing wheat products and also systemically as the wheat irritates the GI tract. A wheat based diet is not natural for humans yet is the chronic state for many people. Wheat also keeps resting serum glucose levels hight. Dairy is also one of the leading causes of chronic inflammation and sinus symptoms. Lots of cases of people who eliminate cow dairy and their sinuses pop open. Dairy also shoots up serum glucose. Good luck with your sinus problems.

I’ve had 2 failed full frontal sinus obliterations at Stanford. The last one in 1995, unfortunately I’m still having infections on IV’s and PIC lines. I was just discharged from the hospital again last week and waiting for my appointment with the ENT head and neck surgery department in Maryland. I have horrible swelling on my forehead above my right eye and headaches daily with a scar across my head from ear to ear. I saw the Dr. giving the lecture and he said my last resort was too have my forehead removed. And IF I stayed infection free for ONE YEAR then I could speak to the cosmetic surgery team! It’s been a nightmare ever since the first obliteration, and I tried 5 other sinus surgeries before that. For over half of my life I’ve been living in pain due to my sinuses! I feel for each and every one of you.

Pretty sure I must have got the infection from my first CPAP.

I had 2 15 yr old failed tooth implants with severe bone loss…laser surgeries /bone grafts..eventually removed by oral surgeon call when doing a CAT scan after removal stated I had sinusitis. The black area on one side of the maxillary was black and the other gray. Went to an ENT who is giving me the Neil med with adding budesonide and Celine, prednisone 20 mg down to 2 mg and Amix-celeb. My ENT doctor asked me if I could breathe. I laughed and said not only can I breathe. I have no symptoms whatsoever. I do have a deviated septum. He’s telling me these medication‘s may work so it’s a 50-50 chance that I might need surgery and I’m scared to death. Hey, sounds awful. Yes I have suffered for 7 years with mastoid sinusitis / ETD which would become glue ear if I wasnt rinsing daily. Tramadol is the only thing that touches it. Take a tablespoon of black pepper or 20mg of piperine to increase to tramadol effectiveness and its anti-inflammatory, etc, etc, etc. also, if it would be helpful I can send you 3d screenshots of you CTscan if that would help you? Maybe I can find something to direct the specialists towards. let me know. I had to do it for my own issue, but the field of medicine in my opinion is extremely wanting.

thank you Dr. Hwang, a very useful insight. I've suffered chronic sinsitis 40yrs. It has been very disabling and the quality of life poor. I may have respite for five days and it will begin again. I have tried 100's of remedies to no avail.I had an op.a long time ago, to no avail.such as life.

Thank you for giving the well-arranged contents about the overall concept of dz and therapeutic information following the characteristics and explaination of appropriate approach to the antibiotic use, detail description relating to surgical process...but a little bit concerned that this video has been made quite long time ago. so "New" Treatment titiled is needed to be adjusted for whom want to get actual New guidelines and not to let them misunderstand some treatment options which had been recommended from this video. i.e. part of topical antibiotic use through the nebulizer, this is not commonly used for treatment in chronic sinusitis according to my reference and what I've studied until now. I wonder how's going with the study sponsored from NIH or if it has been finished, the results? and How about topical Vt.A?

A helpful video but I would suggest someone checks the sub-titles as they need improving. I have had chronic sinusitis for nearly a year, tried most things, now my doc. suggests surgery even tho' there is no infection or blockages. Any comments would be helpful as for me it would be a last resort. I am 74.

Noo, that depends on the antibiotic / medicine. So you wouldn't take an antibiotic, you'd use silver in the nebulizer.

I had sinusitis for twenty years and only got rid of it because I used the nasal spray sinusoothe. It will not work for everyone but I know at least another three people who had sinusitis and this worked. You would be mad not to try it. I've now heard that most of the doctors in Houston, Texas are recommending it for sinus infections.

I was told the polyps will come back. My mom had it done 3 times. I assume the 3rd time was much more invasive procedure where they basically remodel the inside of your head. She's now using sinus rinse with budesonide in it. Same thing I'm using.

astrialinda H Exactly! And yet some doctors prescribe them immediately without first taking a swab to determine the type. This is leading to antibiotic resistance and people are going to be in big trouble should they desperately need antibiotics when they're older.
