I live in the US, but I don't like that Hybe has joined with UMG because of everything that is coming to light within the music and hollywood industries. Hybe and BTS does not need any of the American music labels. BTS has worked hard and they earned their own success and that is why we love them.

Scooter is the co-CEO of Hybe America, not Hybe overall, who is CEO Park Ji Won. When BTS was in America, Scooter interacted with them because they were in the States. I do not believe Scooter has the access to BTS people think. BTS also hold shares in Hybe (Big Hit). I wish people would stop pushing their own narrative onto BTS. Bighit or hybe is the best label bts can ever be in. No other label will be able to manage a group like bts or treat them better than Bighit. What is wrong with someone wanting to break into the US music scene? Seriously I think our country could use a lot more of the positive, fun music that Kpop shines with. I remember in the 80's and 90's going to places where you could meet your friends and dance to thumpin fun music. You could get together and do the "electric slide" or the "macarena". Do those places even exist anymore? Karaoke brought people together, but it's sadly lost in the anals of time. (At least in the area I live.) Fortunately Usher has returned to us. His music is like a bright light in the darkness of the world. It's fun, you can dance to it, and it reminds us of better times when life was less chaotic than it is now. Bruno Mars. The same...where did he go? Last I heard he was touring the world...Ariana Grande recently came out with new music...and New Kids on the Block is back. YAY!! Music is said to "tame the savage beast". Stress is the beast in this case. It's bountiful in the world and it's hold on us all is strong. Even the Kpop fans feel this beast. It happens in the form of saseungs, and in the "fans" who cause issues for the groups. When the stars are singing about all our problems without solutions like they do in the US, then music only empowers the beast more. You need to hear music that is more upbeat, that gives you hope, and is that light to help you become less stressful. Kpop provides that upbeat music...and not just Kpop....Jpop, Cpop, Mpop, Tpop, Ppop, Qpop.....ahhh all the world's pop music is providing that stress relief but if it is not available in the US, then it doesn't help us at all does it? I think that HYBE is smart with what they are doing and NO I would not see Scooter Braun trying to worm Jungkook from the main branch. Jungkook knows he wants to do and I am pretty sure he's said it many many times now...and has he ever lied to the fanbase??? I haven't heard him yet...so I put my trust in him. To those "fans" who just follow what others on the internet say...DO YOUR RESEARCH first. Correction Tae said no matter the relationship with the company he signed to see his members smile/happy so loyalty to members not the company but good try lol. I also think most members have said something similar when they thought about disbanding they signed out of loyalty to each other period.

All of the BTS members are going to come back together no matter what they even said they were! They still may make some solo albums but they have said many times they could not wait to get back together. This protest and complaining is stupid. Again, the company and the guys are not idiots. The guys are not amateurs who know nothing, they know exactly what is happening within the company. They wouldn’t have signed new contracts if they thought something was amiss. They have great lawyers who would have looked into everything for them. People can be as unhappy as they want but it has absolutely nothing to do with them. Yesterday news broke in Japan that Yoongi left his service and changed his classification to where he is now being trained to serve as a regular soldier where the rest of the other members are serving, being trained to use a weapon, etc. He asked to be reevaluated and found his shoulder is fine. Fans were praying his shoulder wouldn’t be affected by it again and that he would come back safely. I don’t know if you heard. BTS comeback means huge money…no way a label would squash that. If they didn’t want that, they wouldn’t have merged.

It's not UMG I have a problem with... It's Scooter Braun. He just doesn't seem to be very artist centered. This isn't limited to Justin Bieber, other artists have had problems with him as well. I don't think it's a problem for BTS though as their contract gives them control over their own artistic direction. That isn't necessarily the case for the other acts under Hybe though.. As far as BTS and the members, it benefits them to have a distribution deal in other countries and UMG is one of the biggest. PLUS Hybe (the original) has the upper hand in anything regarding Hybe America.I don't think UMG is going to influence them to do anything they don't want to do. The guys are pretty firm that they want to get back together once their out of the military and I'm sure that is what they intend to do. What they've discovered through this hiatus is that they CAN do solo work. It is also very apparent they very much miss working as a team. If you watch any of their behind the scenes videos of when they would do a solo performance you can see how much they miss that support from each other. Even when they don't talk about it you can see it in their behavior and expressions. Then when a member comes to support them you see the relief. Their whole body relaxes and their nerves calm. Doing solo work was good for their growth as artists but I don't think it is their focus. What else were they going to do once Jin started his service and the others followed... do BTS with fewer and fewer members? No. They don't want to miss even one member. They've said this. So if they hadn't done all these other project we wouldn't have had ANYTHING after the Busan concert.

It feels like BTS was protected up until they went in the military. Then he and V were preyed upon to leave the group. I can see both sides of returning to the group or going solo. I think the group should come back, stay together another tour then go out solo, and get together every few years. As exciting as it was for JK and V to have all the attention, will they surpass what BTS accomplished? Everyone is going nuts wondering what will happen. I think Suga’s solo tour was amazing, and you hear nothing about what’s going on with JK and V.
