In the 4.8 livestream, we got the first look at three new characters. One of them is the female Hydro Catalyst Shark Girl. Her look is different than I imagined, and personally, I don’t like it that much. Anyway, let’s discuss the new leaks we got about her.
A few hours ago, we got her name leaked by DK2. Her name is Marani. It was directly translated from Chinese, so it might be inaccurate.
In the livestream, we saw her riding a shark in the water. It’s her elemental skill that lets her walk on water at a speed similar to Yelan. Her kit depends on her elemental skill. It enhances her normal attacks and grants up to 3 stacks that provide a health-based multiplier. When fully stacked, she can release 5 homing projectiles with enhanced damage, similar to her normal attacks.
Overall, the Hydro Shark Girl is extremely powerful and useful to have on your team.
Now let’s discuss her damage compared to Neuvillette. As we discussed in my previous video, Shark Girl's damage at level 90 is higher than Neuvillette's, and it was confirmed by reliable sources. We also have leaks suggesting a high chance of reaching level 100 in the Natlan region. Just think about it: if Shark Girl is dealing 1 to 2k more damage than Neuvillette at level 90, imagine how powerful she will be at level 100. Remember, I’m sharing this based on leaks from reliable sources, but in my opinion, she will deal similar damage to Neuvillette, and our Hydro Daddy will still be better.

Now, let’s discuss the new artifact leaks we got. A few hours ago, we got leaks from a reliable source, Foul, about the new artifacts we will get in version 5.0.
Let's start with the first set. The first artifact set is called Night Spirit. The artifact bonus increases damage and boosts critical rate by consuming Night Spirit. We don’t have any info about what Night Spirit is from leakers for now.
Now, let’s discuss the second artifact set. The second artifact set bonus restores energy and triggers a reaction that increases damage for the character when a team member enters the Night Spirit state.
Overall, both artifact sets will work with Night Spirit, but right now we don’t have any info on that. Don’t worry, I will make another video if I receive any new leaks about it.
