It IS already turning into Yugioh judging from the new mechanics. Bushiroad even has a new TCG ready on Feb or March 2020 which might be a backup in case VG dies, which from my point, is already kinda dead. I still play it coz of Misaki existing in the anime so....

@@cardfightcrazy8769 I cant say it's really well since the anime was rushed, the views are kinda meh, and Bushiroad just gave new reveals like how thanos snaps his fingers.... Suddenly a 70k base G5 comes out. That is totally powercreep. Additionally, it also has a skill. If every clan were to have this in future, it's gonna turn into yugioh by October 2020. And if you didn't know, Bushiroad is surviving due to Weiss Schwarz, not Vanguard. Currently, I can only say vg is on the borderline of dying. It can only be there for around 2 more years? Right now vanguard is just being repetitive. When reboot came out, most were unhappy because it's basically a repeat of gen 1 all over again, just with powercreep and new skills thats all.

I think thats for the story. We technically know that rive meets chronodran and gets gear Chronicle because of vanguard g, im willing to bet the support is all the way at the end to set up for a vanguard g reboot especially considering there is a vanguard g manga and the story is a little different. Its sad to see that gears wont be getting standard support but if its for plot significance and we get jet back i think itll be worth

It’s kinda hard to get 5 force. It’s most likely a third G3 ride thing, only a 2nd G3 ride when you see 3 copies of Uranus. Gives lots of decks sufficient time to win before that or to build up hand before that. If it’s just a vanilla 70000 accel circle it’s not that good but if it has strong effects then it’ll be worth playing into the late game.

Man i'm also really excited to see more GN stuff, so much so i made up effects for the new G3 Just my personal touch lol [CONT](VC): If you have a grade 3 in your soul, this unit's [AUTO] ability activates two times. ("When placed" abilities will also activate twice) [AUTO](VC): When it attacks a vanguard, put the top card of your deck into your drop zone, and perform one of the effects below depending on that card's type: ・Normal unit - This unit gets [Power]+10000/drive +1 until end of battle. ・Trigger unit - You get an Imaginary Gift: Accel, then COST [Counter Blast (1)], draw a card, and call a card from your hand to an open (RC).

Oh Solemn the anime takes place right after the accident of Misaki's parents Also I do like this new turn to change things and I wished that we would have Rive use Tachikaze and not Nova Grappler. I do hope that Rive is a Hero player of Novas since my younger brother uses Nova Heroes. As a Genesis player I am happy in a way but am like damn did not expec to be the Main Charecter but damn did they do something radical again to Genesis.

All of this is really interesting and as a long time Vanguard player I'm not sure how I feel. I LOVE that new clans are finally going to get a spotlight. As for the grade 5, I think it will only belong to Gensis maybe another clan, and I think it's an effort to try to make every caln truly feel really different from each other and doing that by giving some clans INSANE mechanics. I do think the grade 5 has consistency problems, and I think it will be less about who goes first and more of who gets all of their pieces. Overall I'm optimistic, I think power creeping the game forward going into a new era of the anime makes sense, I just hope they do it slowly.

I think the 2 mystery clans are gonna be royals and neo. Theres a vanguard g manga so they probably wanna do that. If they keep the other 2 clans a secret then nobody can draw conclusions and assume thats where the story is heading. Just my guess though

Bermuda players originally wanted Summer and Winter support (christmas theme, easy marketing) pre-Ange g3, because once a year wasn't enough to keep them relevant. However, bermuda was in the end of year 1 of V-series support, so this would be year 2 which makes sense. They probably won't get more in summer, but I wouldn't complain! Can't wait to add new Riviere to Ange and get a force marker while superior riding :]]]]]]]

Upcoming 2nd Bermuda set has me already hyped since with it we are getting that V era Pacifica that I was already waiting for when 1st V era Bermuda set was announced. Of course other favorites Coral and Riviere getting they new versions is also great as well as more Colorful Pastrale units.

Seeing the Genesis stuff blew my mind. I wasn't all that impressed by the first wave of support, figured the second one would be the crazy fun Genesis I'd come to know and love. Lo and behold they give us the power of God himself, along with whatever the heck that big dragon is for the new booster. Even without Valkyrion(and why wouldn't you run it, but I digress) the idea of riding vanguard, applying two Force across the rears, and then next ride getting two on Vanguard for a full Force field? That's some spicy cheese I can get behind

The only thing I don't like is the 70k powercreep. While many of you might argue that Bermuda is also doing the same but worse, that's only one clan. Now with Genesis's new mechanic, most of the expansion previously will just be outclassed. Yes, they might have a chance to beat the new genesis, but the meta is still going to be just the underrated clans like Great Nature etc. And if Genesis is already using a 70k G5, we should expect powercreep up to 100k for base power in future.

I don't think every clan is gonna be able to use the new cray elemental. From what I read, b4 stride cray elementals were rare occurrences that acquired elf's and/or nobles to summon them. Uranus is a noble.

Dang... even when writing my own fic, I thought Bushi wouldn't actually go to Grade 5. BTW, the next season anime is actually a prequel to both V and Chrono's story over in that era as Rive is one of the supporting cast.

You're overreacting. Five Force Gift Markers are required for the Grade 5 to be normal called to the plain. Shadows can easily retire the opponent's board with Blaster skills and they might have to drop it for a PG cost.

Was fully expecting Shin to play Murakumo and Rive to use Tachikaze. Shin's ace, "Your Anus" is, despite what other people said about it, is NOT defenseless. Valkyrian looks like a mix of Destiny Hero - Celestial and Elemental HERO - The Shining. "And then something, something, Chrono is born, causing another reset in the Vanguard universe. JI ENDO." JefJef Amores Uranus' skill is on-place, so you likely won't have the chance to play any other units before him and reduce the cost.

Indeed, I never say other clans would get Astral Plane and I literally say Astral only goes to genesis. Maybe aqua force gets Marine Plane or some shit like that. I can definitely see this type of mechanic going towards all clans. We'll see.
