I served in the German Army for eight years, we often used the "Brückenpanzer" to pass rivers with the Marder! It's awesome, and it works so fast in Real Life

What fun that would be doing all that while under fire. You survive, attempt to go over and the bridge isn’t stable, causing you to flip into the river.

It's great to see Arma come so far and it's great to see people still working on improving it! I still love going back and watching all the old playlists of DDG & Pals kick ass in DayZ and Arma! Epoch was and still is a favorite.

Some areas of the map feel like Hirschfelden from The Hunter COTW sometimes. Especially the forests and rolling fields near Klinze.

I am in an Armoured Reconnaissance Regiment, remember lined up with my troop down dirt track in a woodblock, waiting for the engineers to lay the bridge with the bridge layer, then bomb burst out, in controlled manner get across the far bank push out into cover or setup are OPs with are Scimitars.

My grandfather operated a bridge layer in WW2 , while they were setting up a bridge just after the D-Day landings a German sniper was shooting at the soldiers around the bridge layer but only wounded 2 soldiers

The russian side in the RHS mod has had a bridge layer for a while now. Except theirs is much cooler and has its own tug boat which you can transport by truck, the bridge pieces are moved by truck as well. The cool thing about thatbone is that you can make it as long as you want.

Everbody to their own. I think the bridge layer is a tad cooler and perhaps faster from setting it up unlike the RHS counterpart IIRC.

I don’t like the screen shake when the missile hits. Maybe one sudden jolt from the sound wave hitting you but not 5 seconds of shaking… that needs to be fixed.

Well, too bad the DLC don’t have that much content. I found the solo missions pretty blend and overall, this DLC it not really worth it i guess (It’s better than Iron Curtain’s eternal void of emptyness but less than prairie fire). I do recommand the Antistasi multiplayer mod, i’m playing it with friends and it’s really fun, and it really goes well with the era of this dlc.

Depends on what you want to do with the cDLC, it is worth it. And content whise, it has the largest amount of content IIRC compared to any cDLC or DLC.

They can as far as I know, either if you are the lead vic and let them follow via Formations or if you use the bridge layer over a destroyed bridge.

They are being used over rivers. If the river is small enough you can easily use a bridge layer. (Or if the bridge is destroyed)

Half these can be got with mods or the previous Global Mobilizaion DLC Lol only thing thats special is the bridge layer and thats not worth 15 bucksw

Not really, the most thing cannot be found in mods (Leopard 1, Bergepanzer, Biber, PAH-1 etc...) and the stuff that you will find in mods have not the same qualitly at all. Also, this is an update to GlobMob, not a new cDLC.

As far as I remember, yes they are partially able to cross it, either if you deploy it over a destroyed bridge or if you let them follow you via a formation.

Besides what has been said, Tencent has "only" a minority share and those cDLCs where as far as I remember long befor Tencent maybe even thought about geting a share in work. Also, you may not have been impressed with either GM or PF, but many where. GM got praise for 100% using own created conntent which is HQ and also not even 40% or avaible on the workshop. SOG did also really well regarding modeling etc see F4 Phantom. But don't just say, that 'cause Tencent bought a minority share they have been a) pushing out those cDLCs and b) only want money.

@@29-P4TCH3R Look im sorry all of the dlcs they have been producing come off as lazy money grabs. I also do not trust anyone taking money from the CCP. So idk what to tell you. Also they had the investment in late January early February of 20 its the 9th month of 21 prairie fire was released in march of this year. The only thing consistent with the dlcs for arma is they are all underwhelming.
