The 2024 Volvo EX30 was an unexpected surprise in many ways! The only thing that wasn't as surprise was that it is electric! Just like the Volvo EX90.
Like other electric cars, the Volvo EX30 has gone down the path of simplicity, but this goes to a point Volvo has gone non-conventional. Did it play in their favor? The French car manufacturers have been doing it for decades, with hit-or-miss results. Volvo on the other hand had a consistent reputation, as consistent theme, but with the EX30, something was unique.
The Volvo EX30 is related to the Smart #1, but is should be noted this isn't the first time Volvo has done collaborations for small cars. Around the 1980s, Volvo collaborated with Dutch car manufacturer, DAF.

Was this satire? The lack of knowledge and research in this "review" is comical. Did he even read anything? Talk with the Volvo rep? Also how does one do a review without driving it? The fact that he didn't know that there is no heads up display or no driver display just tells you how little research went into this. Every design consideration was mitigate cost so they can launch the EX30 for around $30,000 in the base model. The no buttons, or speakers in the door? keeps cost low. The center glove box? Allows them for easier assembly and parts while making left or right driver models.

$39000. It starts at $35000 for the Core with USB ports and park assist removed. But obviously the $39000 Plus version adds so much value it is the one to treat as "Base" model. Add the should-be-included-already towing hook and it's basically a $40000 car.

In what way does it lose it's Swedish charm? The whole design is based on principles that are intrinsic in Scandinavian design, minimalism and form following function. As well as pursuing more renewable and interesting materials. It retains Volvo's core values of refinement, comfort and safety and also features small details like the Swedish flag on the seat, the moose and scandi graphics in the rear storage and frunk and fun Ikea style graphic in the boot. Let's be honest if it wasn't purchased by Geely you wouldn't be saying this. PS Imagine the horror of having a glove box you can easily reach.

What an annoying review!!!!! Never driven a Tesla or Kia EV? Just go selling toothbrushes or something like that, but not cars!!!

Are you not familiar with the icon for headlights? It was right there on the left stalk. There's also more storage underneath the center console that you missed initially. Honestly, maybe do some more research before you do a review.

Very poor and amateurish review. Not even aware of the position of the speedometer or how the cup holders can be moved to allow storage in central console. Got almost everything wrong. Why is it weird to have a glovebox that both the driver and passenger can reach ??

For your kind of information price is not a 55,000 euro price is 34000 euro it’s the cheapest electric car in 2023 to 2024 thanks bro.

40000 euro. It starts at 38000 in the german configurator as far as I can see. But obviously the 41000 euro Plus version adds so much value it is the one to treat as "Base" model.
