From the floor of Blade Show West 2023, David took a moment to talk with Sam from Vosteed to talk about the RSKAOS, an EDC fixed blade, new prototypes with their iteration of the Compression Lock, a sized-down Thunderbird, a family of Corgi flippers, and aluminum-handled Racoons. I am always impressed with Vosteed, but this video mostly had me impressed with their representative Sam. He really seems to know what is what in the knife world as well as the manufacturing side, and he was having a good time. Good on Vosteed for hiring a relatable dude to represent them to the American public

I have the RS kaos and absolutely love the top liner lock. It’s my favorite lock type, I will be picking up the psyops and hedgehog whenever they come out!

Really like what Vosteed has and is bringing. Sam was great. I do wish the original RSK would be offered without the compound grind. It brings little if anything functionally, makes sharpening more difficult.... but it does look good, which im guessing is its reason for being.

I stopped buying knives after the Nightshade - it is that good for my needs. But, the new fixed-blade Meek has me thinking I need a fixed blade! Yue Dong is an amazing designer, and Vosteed has really taken off!

Noticed that both of them missed the first flip on the Hedgehog. There have been a lot of "minimalist" flippers recently (see the Kizer Doberman) that seem to want to check the "flipper" box without regard for function. I get that folks don't want "pocket peckers" (thanks Nick Shabbaz), but if it's not going to flip easily without my finger either slipping off or getting chewed up by the effort, I'd just as soon they leave them off and make the knives thumbstud only.

I would say Awesome so excited BUT as a knife nut that is in the know way more than the average EVERY Vosteed I have been interested in are NEVER in stock! You basically have one shot to buy a new Vosteed or have to wait 6 months until they come back, by then its been forgotten about and no longer wanted. That RSK knife has been in stock one time since released. Meanwhile they are making 20 different models of the racoon. I dont get it! Vosteed im only complaining because i WANT and love your models!

I've been looking for a new favorite knife company since Cold Steel got sold to Gas Station Merchandise (GSM). Vosteed is making a strong bid despite doing so much of their manufacturing in China.

That locking system seems to solve the only problem with Spyderco's Compression lock...the ability to easily disengage.

Pocket clip placement on all your knives is bad. You will sell more knives if you consult somebody and fix that

Vosteed- If you have an ambidextrous lock, you have to have an ambidextrous pocket clip. The hard part to getting those extra sales and loyal customers is just two little holes away. Finish the race, don’t pull up with the finish line in sight. Also, if you really want to complete the circle of innovation, the grail would be to invent an ambidextrous pocket clip that works, is aesthetically attractive, and no one can complain about. Someone is going to do that soon.

The front flipper would be sick if it did not have a finger choil please stop putting finger choils on every folder. They are unnecessary with such a large handle

Don’t buy from Vosteed. You cannot return the knife if you don’t like it. Even if you pay shipping or return fee. Ridiculous. At least you can buy from KC.

No more Vosteeds for me, sold otf every one accept the one that still doesn't work.. The will soon take away my comment! And tell me to contact support!! It took over 6 months for them to get things to replace the damage parts!! And still the knife don't work as it supposed to do !!
