I think the main probablem with the Mob votes is that they said "It will come back in the future" and while it may it never really feels like it comes back around to it. I really stand by the point that there should be a update called "The Forgotten Update" Where it takes stuff that was scraped or not voted in and adds it. Ive had that idea for a long while and really hope so day it can happen

I think one of the mobs to vote is going to be a water type, because every year the first video about the mob vote is connected with the terrain behind them

i feel like if they gave us 3 mobs and then we decide in what order they are added in would be best or a mob vote of just the previous losers

The Trails and Tales update was cool and added some really interesting and fun features, but yeah, nothing was really cohesive. For example, what’s the connection between cherry groves and archeology? There aren’t any archeology sites in that biome, or jungles for that matter. There are armor trims in jungle temples, but none in the cherry grove. Sniffers make sense, but the addition of the camel doesn’t. Adding camels in a desert update would’ve made more sense. There’s no connection between archeology and camels. Overall, the 1.20 update was a definite improvement for Minecraft, but I hope future updates are more connected. Not to say that I don’t want diverse updates - I just hope the aspects of 1.21 connect somehow and sense. But whatever the devs do, I know it’ll turn out fantastic!

I'm honestly really disappointed with this year's votes already and we don't even know what they are. "Cute mobs" are alright, but don't make us vote on them. Add them all in anyways, let us vote on something that would actually make the game more interesting, make it more dangerous with more hostile mobs, we need more of those, there's a huge lack of them in the overworld in my opinion and adding more would make things a little more interesting. As an edit, I was really disappointed with the 1.20 update as a whole. I don't really see the value of the sniffers, they're just there, they're like bats to me. They serve no purpose to me. The two things that I liked from it were the armor trims and cherry wood, but I think the archeology is a massive failure and a huge disappointment to me. I can remember way back when at the time that they announced it with caves and cliffs, it sounded amazing, and honestly if all had gone to plan and 1.17-1.20 were all one update, it would've worked so well. I understood the need of breaking it up but there was no real good reason for me to think as to why 1.20 couldn't have been combined with 1.19. Overall, I think the update was really weak. Small updates are good and all, but it was not worth the wait from what we were told three years ago. Not to mention the direction that Mojang is trying to take with the villager trades thing, it really is a risk of removing the sandbox capabilities within the game which upsets me. If they rebalanced everything wrong (anvils, enchantment tables, durability, loot from villagers, loot from chests, among a few other things) I would be really happy to have that as an update more than an end update which I think the game desperately needs. At this point, I'm not all that positive feeling on what's being announced for this update. I want to stay optimistic, but I recently had to reset my hardcore world and I'm at a point where I'm really burnt on it because I want a good seed with a good spawn but would also allow me to prepare myself for the future update, but if the villager changes go through without any rebalancing of the other options that I previously mentioned, it's really going to discourage me from playing at all which is really sad to me. I'll still be playing Minecraft, but it would be in different versions and on servers.
