Thanks for asking that very important question! I too had that same problem of the blade shifting. First, the Cutting BLADE is secured to the GUIDE and is held in place with 2 phillips screws. The problem is in this area. If the screws are over-tightened leading to stripping the screw holes or cracked the guide. I used the "zero gappping on flat surface" method and tightened-up the screws. The cutting blade hasn't moved since. I suggest you check the guide carefully, clean the mating surfaces on both the guide and the blades completely, ensure it is free of oil and hair(not to be overlooked if you want to minimize or eliminate shifting). Try that and let me know the outcome.

Thats what I want to know too :( Did you get any information on the 2 blades? Is the T wide blade sharper and cuts more crispy than the standard blade? My standard blade feels as if its already dull :/ and its only been a day since I had the detailer

The t-wide blade is a 1/4 inch wider than the 5 star blade. The 5 star blade is good for people that has small or short corners on their hairline. I have 2 Detailers. One has the 5star blade and the other one has the T-wide blade. They both cut great.

hello..I see u want to quite razor blades just like me..did u already got an option? I bought the t outliner and is not helping me at all

yeah I bought the 5 stars wahl detailer from this video. It cuts low but I wanted something that cuts lower. It provides a 2 or 3 days after shave look to be more specific. Eventually, I'll see if the outliners from andis cut lower. One thing I can tell you is that these trimmers will work differently in most cases. My roommate's facial hair is cut lower than mine just with a regular wahl clipper. But my hair is complicated combined with sensitive skin so I dont get a lower cut as I desire but im satisfied with the 5 stars wahl detailer. It is better than razor bums from shaving blades.

+Adriel MUtopia Hey, I'm an amatuer barber and I'd suggest you to get the wahl or andis foil shaver and not the trimmer, the foil shaver will provide a razor like cleanness dude, quite amazing actually

xCainey yeah but those profoil shavers must have their head/blades replaced every 4 to 6 months. That was my only problem. The replacement were too expensive. Whereas the 5 stars wahl trimmer blade lasts and stays sharp for years as long as I take care of it by oiling etc. For the time being, I'll stay with the 5 stars detailer trimmer. Later on, I may try the profoil shaver. Thank you. A bunch of people have recommended me those profoil shavers as a great alternative for a close shave.
