Bought the black 2 days ago for 35 Ebay comes nezt month I use a styliner for lining and now want to get that extra hair off so I won't have to shave almost every day so thought why not get one of these I'm still wondering why trimmers in general Haven't been able to cut as close as these when they have been out since like '80s Tech in other things has advanced a lot why are trimmers still stuck it seems or is it companies know how to make them cut closer but choose not to

Are these supposed to cut razor sharp to where theres no hair popping out? I have the detailers and i still see hair showing when i go over it with it.

How can i tell if my motor is real or fake, mines doesnt look like yours, the brand says "Johnson" and the logo appears as cRUus" where the "RU" is written backwards.

I had to put the long screws in first to line up then I had to hold it down tightly to to keep the spring from popping up, very frustrating, but it helped to put it together easier.

Hello there,I just want to know if the red light on the Wahl Shaver Shaper 5 Star stays red when it is fully charged or goes off.I have been having one for a long time and recently I discovered that the battery has gone bad,I repalced it with a new battery the same model with the one that I removed from it and have charged it overnight but the light still stays on red.Is this normal or something is amiss.Thanks.

Thanks for posting this. Dropped my shaver and was just about to buy a brand new one before I saw your video. Disassembled mine and notice the battery terminals broke on both ends. Soldered it just like the video and now it's working again. Repaired for $4 (solder) compared to buying a new one for $60.

This product was Purchas as a present from my daughter it failed 6 months later it's junk and the battery is too small and no warning it's going to run out, DON'T BUY IT.

Thank you so much. Wondeful video. Unfortunately, I dropped my machine a few months back. I can't seem to figure out why it's not cutting any longer. I can't seem to get it to cut. There is practically no signs that it was dropped or of any damage. It's expensive and I don't know if I should replace the blade if I just don't know if this is actually where the issue lies. I only got 3 years from my wahl shavers and the 1st year they worked great now won't hold a charge so I got an Andis foil shaver super cheap in double sale at cosmoprof and I wasn't even expecting it even the worker had to check the price to make sure but the company did it

It's so easy to repair i figured it out get original Gorilla glue and put spring in place apply gule a small amount and let it dry for 36 hours now I have two t liner working like new

What tool was that to remove screws from foil?

I know this video old.....but the issue was the blade follower.....same reason why that blade gets loud.....since then they have corrected that issue
