Great rebuild CE. Lots of moving parts working in a harsh environment equal wear and breakdowns, Looks like you addressed all the common failures and have a reliable machine again. Thanx for the video and the explanation of the repairs. Work safe! Doug@ the "ranch"

That's interesting that your Gleaner head has that style Garden knife set up. I have been taking geringhoff heads out to customers and that's the first thing they notice is the alternating knife now I can tell them that they got it from Gleaner!

I would have to say its probably SCH ! Someone put this on a Gleaner ,top of the line for its time!

Shoupe is always a good place to get parts!! Any more, as dealers Don't keep anything in stock, it's worth ordering from Shoupe and paying the extra shipping to get it sooner.. So far, we've had good experiences with them👍😎 Good to see you going! An hour round trip, that's not bad!! For us, the closest place is about an hour round trip, if you don't slow down in town, stop for any lights, end up with police escort... And don't stop to unload. LOL.. Thanks for the video CE!!

Shoup is only in Indiana so its only 2 days ups ,and if you order 200 bucks it's free shipping! Agco dealer is almost useless they want to sell Cats! And Massey and they don't stock much!

seems like many time we have to "hurry up and wait". hurry up to get everything ready and wait for the perfect time to do the work. sure is easier to maintain a piece of equipment little by little like this than to resurrect one from the grave.

Been there done that! It isn't the waiting ,the dang thing won't break down when you're not using it !

Are those knife sections the same size as most sickle bar mowers or are they bigger?
@cesmith45663 жыл бұрын
They are simular but all manufacturers make them different! Thanks for watching!
