I'm so glad you asked Harlow what she thought about your wheelchair. She was hovering and wanted attention,. Sweet puppy. I'm not as big of a fan of pink like you are, but I think the pink and purple on your wheelchair looks AWESOME! I'm glad there are accessories that allow you to have some fun and color.

I don’t comment on videos I watch very often. I just don’t feel the need to at times because not many youtubers reply to the comments if you take the time to type a comment, so I guess that’s just why I don’t comment. But I have been subscribed for you for a few months... and I absolutely love your videos so much because it shows that your not fake, you don’t sugarcoat things, etc. I’m 16, but I have a shunt in my head because I had hydrocephalus as a baby, which caused me to have Cerebal Palsy. I don’t have it as bad as others, even though I’m 90% independent there are a few things I cannot do. I love to watch your videos because it gives me inspiration that I can do anything! Even though I do understand what it’s like to have a disability and have your “off” days!! I get headaches when the weather changes to fast, I get super nauseous often, etc I still struggle sometimes and want to give up but your one of the vloggers that give me motivation ❤️❤️

OfficiallySavannah I had Hydrocephalus as a baby, never got a shunt so doctors still say I have Hydrocephalus! Last time I got super bad headache doctor put a 💉 into my spine to drain out fluid while I was awake!

I just got home from a trip to Tampa. I missed this video because it was posted on my birthday and I was out all day on the beach. Just wanted to let you know, you are my inspiration. I have had terrible stomach aches for about a year now. I’ve lost 15-20 pounds from appetite loss and finally told my doctor about it. I never would’ve done it if u hadn’t watched your videos. Thank you ❤️

My wheelchair colors are black and red. My chair is black, and my wheels are SPOX, with red spokes. My push rims are getting scratched and nicked so I was happy you shared links to the rubber push rim covers and I ordered red covers and a red watch band for my push tracker. I haven't received the push rim covers yet, but did receive the watch band and it was super easy to install. Thanks for all the links. '

I have chronic pain and have not been able to walk for 4 years. I went to my pain management dr. There finally going to help me. I’m going to get a stimulator and a pain pump. I’m hoping it will let me walk again. My husband pushes me in a manual wheelchair which doesn’t get me much life because I have to depend on him to take me places. I think a power wheelchair would be better so I can go where I want when we go shopping. But there quite expensive. It would be good if my wheelchair could expand to reach the counter where I could help cook. I miss doing things like that. But it’s not easy when you constantly hurt. Just hoping in the next few months I get some quality of life back.

I'm in a wheelchair also and I use straws from the dollar store instead of spoke skins. It's just a cheaper way to decorate.

I'm a 33 y/o man and my daughters picked me this lovely hot sparkle pink color that I'm now rocking and I really like it lol went with green anodizing on the casters and now looking for pink tires lol also got the smart drive with this chair and love it!

I wanted to let you know how much I’ve used your wheelchair videos. My mobility specialist and I even referred to your videos when making my own choices. Unfortunately the VA won’t pay for the smartdrive, but they are getting the twion wheels like you originally had. Thank you fellow zebra, hope you’re doing better.

Your wheelchair looks so very cool. Gives me inspiration to decorate my walker. So glad you hopefully got your Smartdrive fixed & the new bracket works a lot better. I really hope the 100k live show is earlier than later, then I will be able to see it. If it’s 2pm there, it’s 3.30am here. I’m usually still awake by then & finally fall asleep between 4-6am.

Chronically Jaquie I agree, it takes away the “metal” look. I also think it changes the way other people look at them & hopefully changes their perception of who is using those tools. That’s good about the live stream.

How do u go about getting one? Did ur Insurance cover it? I have Medicare and I think they only cover standard sizes and i need it custom to fit me and my home

If you have trouble with nausea you might consider trying candied ginger. I know it works for motion sickness, and my wife has frequent nausea due to medications she is on and sometimes her anti-nausea meds don't work but ginger does.

I don’t know if u can do it with the wheels you have, but have you looked at “natural fit”/“natural fit Lt” rims? These are ergonomic push rims-they are brilliant for us that fatigue, but also most importantly, those of us that have hand issues-it makes it easier to push, cause the rims fit the hand better-more motion from each push! Highly recommended!!!!

Simply love your wheelchair. I was pleased to find out your Smartdrive and tracker is available in my country, Australia. You will like this, the custom built wheelchair which is the T5 Ultra, is called The Jaq, downunder. I don't think that is a coincidence. I have currently got an offer enquiry in for pricing. Unlike the States, it will probably be all on us for the cost, even though we have private health and to date, I have never claimed any assistance for mobility devices. Thank you so much for sharing the information on your chair. Without you, I wouldn't have known it existed.

Hi Jacquie, we really appreciate the honesty that your videos provide but if you don't feel well enough to film, please don't push yourself too much or overdo it! By the way, I have my rental chair this weekend (TiLite w/ Smart Drive) and had my home assessment on Friday! My chair will be ocean blue metallic with blue spokes!

I ordered the exact same ones yep we had to sign for the package from Lithuania lol. They are awesome but get grey from grime quickly. So a quick wash helps

Yea for the colour pink. It’s cool those spoke things are so easy to take off and put on, if you get bored with the colour you can swap or mix them up. Putting the grip thing on reminds me of washing my steering wheel cover for my car. Took me like 15 minutes to get it back on. Lol.

I have just found your videos and I found this one enlightening because I have Cerebral palsy and my left hand has a hard time gripping the wheel so I ordered rim covers from a different place though so I am just letting you know that this video was informative to me because of that really but I am now a subscriber to your channel And I find these videos informative and entertaining as well

I love the new wheel some covers and group bar cover. They look sooo good and definitely will look awesome after you get the replacement string of lights for the other wheel. Btw that food looks so good. Your coming always makes me hungry which is a rare thing for me lol

Your wheelchair looks so cute! As someone considering a wheelchair for the future, I was wondering why you chose smartdrive on a manual chair instead of a power chair with a joystick? Was it an insurance problem? Sending love and prayers your way while you recover after your G Tube nightmare!

I wanted to remain as active as possible, so I wanted manual. But could not propel well, so power assist was a great compromise. We also had no vehicle to accommodate the electric WC plus I feel more flexible with travel with a manual. Personal reasons, and everyone is different (:

Chronically Jaquie Oh, that makes a lot of sense! I guess I forget to remind myself that everyone is different. My team and I talked about electric chairs because my shoulders so frequently sublux and dislocate but they're expensive. So I guess I got a little caught up in "Well if other people can, why can't i..." but we have to listen to our bodies! I do think that was a good compromise, thanks so much for the very helpful response! I'm so happy your chair works for you! Another tool in the tool belt :D

That is what I want because I am too weak to get a power chair out of my car and I cannot accommodate a lift on my Prius. I hope to get one like yours. I have the service dog organization coming for my home check today and I am overdoing it and know I will regret it tomorrow!

Hey, the same thing was happening to my smart drive. Tighten the screw but also check the rubber ring on the inside of the mount. Replacing that fixed the problem :)

From a curious point of view, have you considered doing gastric drainage/venting via an NG tube and bag. It might help with the 'stomach acid build up/exit swiftly issue' until you get to the point where you are healed enough to the point where you could reconsider whether to redo the gastric button thing or not. Apparently this is something you could do yourself at home without medical intervention (potentially and theoretically!).

I have a wheel chair cause my legs are parilized and it's only blue so thanks to you I can decerate my wheel chair yay I'm going to tell my mom to bye them
