I love it! Believe it or not, I had the same problem on a 1963 Ford Galaxie 500! The trick for me was to both jack up the body and air up the bag near the wheel I needed to remove, then air down the opposite side both front and back to get the rear corner up in the air. Dropping the opposite side front corner really made the difference. Even then, I’d have to tuck the bottom of the wheel under the axle to get it off! It’s crazy what we do for style! 😂

I have a bending die for 3/4 square. Square is great to work with and not many people use it. Wheels are perfect!!

I trick on Vw busses is to fit adjustable spring plates, that way you can wind the set screw out and get more droop might work on a bug pan too

Definitely the right wheel choice hopefully you’ll leave the centers in the state they are in they look perfect on the car.

Looks like you're going to need to build a cantilever setup in the rear and mount bags to bars to get maximum drop and lift to get the wheels on and off.

lol same issue removing rear wheels from a slammed straight axle early VW bus. I’d have to unbolt the axle from the slotted spring plate and pull it down….and still barely wiggle the wheel/tire out. 😂
