I noticed that too....I'm hoping that gets cleaned up a little and isn't AS MUCH as a drastic change. It's still "beta" technically, so we'll see. Will take a lot of adjusting if it's locked in like this.

@@Savvvo yea any side jumping will probably useless now if it stays like this. which i guess it what they want because they've slowly been taking the usefulness of movement away little by little over time. They keep changing how your character lands, and messing with the character slide when changing directions. To me this looks like one of those action rpg jumps where you always start the animation jumping forward and then are able to move in a direction after airborne. which is that's what we are getting... they just handicapped movement insanely.

Honestly I thought the same thing - the fact swimming is THE VERY FIRST THING you do in this game is interesting haha. At least they’re making it very clear that there’s something new 😂

@@ohsfiegwsrg I do think the MSQ is pretty new and cleaned up, but as an existing player it's not important to us at all. Will be nice for console players, but yea...that's basically it for us PC peeps.

Main story has been worked on for the last 12 months, and updates have been made consistently on the MSQ for a while now. I’m sure LOTS more changes that we haven’t seen though yet!

Agree on the areas lacking uniqueness. Disagree on the combat part - I think it runs great, and limiting to 3 skills per weapon is part of the fun! Either way, thanks for watching and commenting!

It’s much faster. I’ll probably do it, then jump back to my main character and eventually transfer it over when I get the chance (prob will open it up after 6 months?)

Just not a ton of end game content atm. Plus, all the PC players we told to wait and wait and wait for huge news, and the news was just console release, when they built up hype and teased actual new end game content, so people are mad they’ll still have very little to do on PC. If you’re console, you’re in a good spot.

I’ll likely start a new one too! Would love to play on console, but currently don’t have a ps5 and wouldn’t buy one just for this :/ I’ll likely play on PC on a new server!

Your character will still be there, as long as you play on PC. If you plan on buying it for console, you need to start a new character. No cross-progress between systems

I enjoy the game and the console will add some players to the player base, regardless if it’s short term or long term it’s a nice change of pace. Long/m-term, we’ll see what happens, but in the meantime I’m still grinding away in New World!
