Haha... thanks for the comment. If you watch some of my other videos you'll see some insane javelin shots :p I would 100% use Perforate over impale if you are going for aggression. With Perforate you can apply rend making it far more agressive for follow up attacks and with fortifying Perforate you also gain fortification. This way it becomes a duel offensive/defensive skill where impale just applies weaken (defensive)

I do use Coup De Grace a lot however it is very situational. If I'm using spear as an opener or whilst they have 50%+ health I will usually sweep to Perforate so it puts rend stacks on for more upcoming dmg. If I'm finishing off with a spear I'll usually use coup de grace :)

@@marcwilson9438 It's a mixture of Dungeon Gear, PVP track and TP. As I don't do much PVE I don't have all the crafting stuff maxed so TP is my friend :p

Don't really have a static POV as I use the mouse wheel to scroll in and out a bit. All those little things I'm not really fussed with as ultimately it's all about familiarisation with whatever settings you have. Even my key bindings are default.

hold your abilities, don't just fling everything at people all at once. most people will spam dodge to get out of staggers as fast as possible. there are fast combos, but to initiate them make sure you take your time and aim the setup

This build is as much about knowing everyone elses as it is about knowing your own. Stamina management, patience with your line up, knowing when to dodge, knowing when to CC so you don't waste it while they have Grit etc..the best advice I can give is to just put the time in :) it becomes natural after a while. 1:35 is a good example of me stalking the guy waiting for him to run out of stamina.

Definitely not useless but gets into the cheese combo playstyle that i try to avoid - prefer the versatility of Perforate. A lot of spear plsys will stun lock players with sweep into vault kick into javelin. It's good in duels but for opr/war/arena I prefer perforate (gives you fortify, puts rend on enemy and does good DPS - can't ask much more than that!) - it just doesn't fit in with the stun lock combos people like to do.

Yeah it's definitely not a spam left click build but once you master it the versatility is incredible. High survivability and burst however it all revolves around empowerment, rends and fortify whilst lining up small little combos. Practice makes perfect - keep at it!

Straight after the javelin you want to use explosive arrow being the highest DPS skill. Additionally your follow up attack will also hit harder due to empowering explosive arrow perk. If you do a light into explosive your enemy has time to roll and you'll only hit the light attack.

It's not just about the build it's how you play it. This is a 200con build so you're not going to get a lot of dmg just left clicking. Eg to do a lot of dmg you'll see I'm rolling a lot so stamina is not 100% extra dmg from gem and perk, I use javelin to put 24% rend on enemy, I also have keenly empowered so an extra 15% dmg + 10% extra dmg because of status effect amd follow with explosive shot which does 180%. You line all these up and even though you have 200con, you'll hit like a truck. Does take skill to line up and understand though compared to an unga bunga left click skill spam build. Since I've mentioned the above you can now look put for it in the video.

Hey! Thank you :) it doesn't matter what pieces have con / dex as long as you limit your overall con to 200 and have your Dex at 300+. My chest piece is from the PVP track rewards.

Make sure all your gear is 623+ it will give an extra attribute point per item. Then you get 40 attribute points with food. If you use tier 5 food you'll end up with 310 dex / 200 con.

Not in open world or opr. there's too much room for us to maneuver and we do too much damage.

S&S + Hatchet is a pretty good counter, super aggressive with some stuns. It's probably the build I have the most trouble with as a couple of wrong moves and I'll be dead.

This comment shows you know nothing about the build :p you do realise I'm putting 30 - 50% rend on targets before using the bow :p

Spear is a tanky players worst nightmare :) the DPS in this build isn't reliant on stacking dex and just hitting left click. It's all about rend and empowerment. On a tank user you'll be applying 25% - 50% rend with perf and jav. They are the easiest to fight against cause their dmg is low and you can easily rend them :) just takes a bit longer to kill.

Really appreciate the comment! Patience and timing on when to use your skills is critical. Lots of people just blow everything at the first opportunity which vs a good player will usually result in you getting countered :p
