Definitely going to wait a bit more to see how New World goes. It looks fun but feel like it'll be really hard to enjoy the game solo. Also with all the stuff thats going on... well, who knows. The new Void Gauntlet preview almost caught me though : P Competition in the MMO market is always good so here's hoping it does well/stands on its own two feet. It's important to have a new MMO altogether and not a port from Korea/Japan etc. Feel like it's been awhile.

Hi, when i block at 60fps in game, this one becomes horribly no smooth.. out I see a lot of streamer with the fps blocked and their is fluid. I don't understand where this problem comes from...

I have a problem, normally I can easily run the game at highest settings with still 144+ fps, but when I go into a city, I have more or less 0 fps and often times my game even crashes. This applies even if I run the graphics at low. I have a RTX3060Ti with 16Gb RAM

I would be quite interested in the general Windows video. I'm sure there's more I can do beyond disabling Superfetch or whatever they call it now.

Yes, I've been thinking of a more in depth Windows video. Windows has alot of overhead that can be cut to run more efficiently.

everything ive done has done nothing. New word just lags for me. big studdering lags... maybe they should add central servers already

Good fixes. Many are speaking doom over this game's future. Do you think it'll have much staying power in the near future? It seams MMO games these days live and die by the fads and whims of streamers.

New World has alot of issues that is for sure. I am hopeful that AGS continues with the update schedule it has been on. So far I like what I have seen as for updates and bug fixing. But it still has a long way to go. I play more casually since I have a day job and have enjoyed my time in spite of bugs. More hard-core players will have an issue I think. You are right about the streamers. I don't care for most of them, lol. Especially Shrouds point of view. But so be it. But too answers your question, I think it is loaded with the possibility. But it boils down too AGS, and the determination of the devs. So far it has been decent, all be it slow progress in the right direction. IMO

my input latency is 55-66 in new world with lots of lag spikes. any advice?

Off the top of my head...turn Vsync off. And possibly lower graphic settings could help. I will look into it and get back with you for tips.

@@AxialGT i did that and all the stuff from this video. my specs if that helps. Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4460 CPU @ 3.20GHz 3.20 GHz Installed RAM 16.0 GB, geforce gtx 1660 super, acer 1920 x1080 144hz monitor i5 4460cpu @3.20hz. lag spikes up over 200 no matter what settings i change.

What are you using to measure input lag? Are we talking input or ping(internet latency)?

@@AxialGT the new world FPS gives you those numbers. but i dont know if that is whats making me have lag spikes. about to quit playing the game altogether cause its frustrating to play like this. PvP i have no chance and i run around flag 100% of the time.

Ahh ok we are talking ping. You running a wired or wireless connection? Anything else using the internet at the same time? Like phones, TV, other computers, tablets? DSL or satellite or fiber internet? Connection speed measured in mbits?

you can do all of this but if amazon doesnt fix new world servers you will always get lagg.

Nice video, but it looks like New World is dying quick, losing about 30,000 players each week.

Yeah, that's the thing, people expected since it hit almost a million players at launch that it would keep growing or maintaining. That is never the case with any mmo at the start. It's known as the mmo that has lost 30000 players a week instead of keeping 150 to 300K players as the norm. Which is still a healthy number of players and if that is maintained...a healthy number going forward. I think the verdict is still out on New World's death.
