The following is a guide for healing in pvp for MMO New World. This is a non-traditional healer using medium armor over light armor. Exchanging an outgoing healing bonus for raw tankiness making it hard for the enemy team to focus the healer out. I've been testing this build over 2 months and it has performed well despite me not having best in slot gear in each slot.
This is a flail and life staff build.

Healer main here: Please please please, dont put fortifying sacred ground on your life staff. It is better on one of your armor pieces. Once you swap weapons, it starts a countdown until the fortify stops. If you want fortifying sacred ground, put it on one of your armor pieces. If fortifying sacred ground is on one of your armor pieces, the fortify will stay on sacred ground no matter what weapon you have out. For the perk on your life staff, you will want refreshing divine embrace. It pretty much makes the cooldown on it instant. The life staff perks you want is going to be Blessed, refreshing move, refreshing divine embrace.

I haven’t but it’s definitely an option for flail skills. Will want to adjust skill layout tho for sure. Can work

Definitely what I’ll be going with. A little less resistances but the max health will boost shirking heals and will pair well well with flail boosting health

Hell yea. I only play against noobs. Never saw a good player. No one ever tried to focus me or been good. You play against the good players. This would never happen on your server. I know I know

@@tomasengstrom6362 butt hurt? No it’s just funny because I get one of these every PvP video is all. I’m not mad at u I’ve x’d on 3 servers. Everyone may not be the best dueler or PvP’er ever, but outnumbered PvP is outnumbered PvP. Strength in numbers even if bad. I definitely been focused a lot. He’ll even in this video. But I appreciate your feedback. Hopefully at some point in this video or next real players jump me
