you mentioned about "Magnetic Gauntlets"... what is this for in pvp?? i can't think about how to use it or with what..any ideas??..

Mag gauntlents are used by VG/IG builds and flamethrower plague builds in wars. Perk in VG tree crit damage heals you, and reduces your cooldowns. So you get your cooldowns back faster to the point your spamming abilities and keeping the other army debuffed.

ye basically what this fella said. 15% heal on vg and cooldown reduction per hit. thx for helping him out

depends on the playstyle you want to go for and the weapon you want to pair it with, if you want some self-sustain and the ability to spam scream then it's very strong. pairing with IG is a great combo because you don't have to worry about crit unless you play spike. windchill, storm, and shower all can't crit

Tether which is active on weapon swap now is very oppressive with a bow. So any more of these going to go through a long exploit period

it's almost a guarantee that something sneaks thru that's pretty busted, but hopefully they're quick to adapt and we can get a nice meta shift once in a while

You're confusing weapon tracking with hit registration. The so called "Ghost swing" is bad registration. The tracking needs to go and a lunge just needs to be in place. Tracking is a MMO concept. Need to move ontop actual action combat game play.

a lot of the ghost swinging comes from a disagreement between server and client whether you should have actually tracked to the enemy, when the server trumps the client you rubber band back to where you would've been without any tracking. the hit reg you're talking about is something separate from what I was talking about and they addressed a few weeks ago saying that a ptr was coming soon with better overall registration for all weapons, not just specifically melee tracking. the important thing to me is just that they're actually making improvements

stop baiting ppl, major change would be a second opr map or being able to slot 20 mercs in a def war... the rest is certainly not major

so I'm excited about the biggest changes we've gotten to the way pvp combat plays basically since the game launched aside from the dodge animation change and maybe the musket rework, but they aren't a big enough deal to you so everyone else should also just live in a constant state of misery.. ay ggs tho
