🤝 thanks for tuning in brother. and yeah absolutely, i just enjoy hatchet and spear's playstyles more. you can make a pretty disgusting 300 con sns/inferno build with artisan's round shield n a sword that's pen backstab, thwarting strikes, KE/RM. I thought about including it in this vid since it played pretty well, it's just a little slow for how I like to play

@@PJsurely Thanks! I was trying it out while trying to finish the artifact quest and found that the hatchet was nice due to the speed as you mentioned. Need to get more gold to upgrade some gear though lol.

yeah gold is kind of a pain to come by sometimes haha at least it's easier nowadays with just upgrading named stuff

that patch doesn't happen for another week or two I believe, they just mentioned it during their balance of power update so I was passing along the important stuff I'll be changing

@@PJsurely Thanks dude ill keep it in mind, i was using shirking empower+endless thirst port spam a lot before but the base dmg increase with natures wrath was less of a bad head to run hehe, helps heavy dmg decently

if you don't mind using musket or bow then yeah I'd just run scorpion's sting with one of them. I just hate bow and musket, if i wanted to play a shooter I'd go back to a shooter. and since inferno is the only good way to get any of the magical weapons with a melee weapon other than rapier, that's what I've been running on and off since inferno was introduced. venom is a waste of your artifact weapon spot imo tho. and I know spear is good, that's why I made videos about it almost half a year ago lol people are somehow just now catching on and saying it's overpowered.. it's basically unchanged that entire time

that's tough.. probably hatchet but not by a lot. hatchet let's you weave in and out of the clump but with spear you can just kind of sit in the clump with infinite abilities and a buncha fortify

I'm sure you could make it work, just not sure how good it would feel without serenity. I haven't played much gs since they slowed down the heavy attacks, might have to give it a test myself. maybe drop blooddrinker and go back to trenchant recovery

You'd probably be better with a non-artifact LS such as Flintstick and Serenity with a conversion gem; going all INT. Serenity is that good of a GS.

yeah but the conversion gem scaling is pretty bad. wish they'd give them another look honestly

yeah they always complain that the dots don't work as well as an int fs.. if you play the way I do an only use it for chase and burst then that doesn't matter and being able to pair with different melee weapons is an advantage itself

I cant tell if you're just saying it simply doesn't work or if you don't understand why it hasn't worked for you

@@PJsurely I am using Feral Rush / Torrent / Berserk with Blood Drinker and Keen like you have. I am in light not medium. My guess is the lack of damage to keep incoming heals? With the exploits everyone is running (low gear score) where you do less damage means less heals... Maybe this is the problem?

there's a reason I play medium, you can't stand and out-trade somebody when you're in light even with my identical build. you take way more damage and barely do any additional damage. the dot moonstone is important for how i play, it let's me put out better damage than a lot of light hatchet players and still be much much tankier. in my most recent video I was hitting people for 3k light attacks and that was before the keen berserk buff even with blooddrinker on
