What New World needs for players to really come back, is: -A long term vision. Players want to see major updates. Expansions shouldn't be about reworking a small old zone and adding mounts. Add a Whole new World! -New PVP modes, not a new OPR map. New modes. 10v10, flag captures, or king of the hill type of things. -No door building, no brute or wolves, no random stagger, no tree to cut. Just PvP. -More meaningful gear. They are on the right path with the artefacts. So, more artefacts. Artefacts are reaaally really cool! Thats a big W. -1 Player, very challenging boss trials. -More weapons. - The ability to play the angry earth race or some shit like that. -A DPS Meter for pve. There is a reason why all WoW players use it. -5 to 10 bosses 10-men PVE raids. -Bigger Servers. -Better Cosmetics for leaderboard rewards. Skins should be INSANE for the amount of hours some players spend trying to get them. Compare it with WoW's first Challenge Gold Skin rewards that came with MOP. -Make respec free. -Ranked Arena, MMr system. -Stay away from the "mobile game" type of development.

I've always been that person that supports this game no matter what. I've created a discord community for it, now we're at almost 4k people from SA EAST region, a small region of players. I've created and paid for a site with my own money to post guides and builds for new world, I've helped countless of players in game and on many discord servers. I've tried to help with small projects as much as I could: bots, maps, wars tools, translations, etc... After the video the devs announced this no content roadmap I gave up. On my discord server everyone is mad about the game, there's only a few left playing and many quit for good. And it's not only the Palword effect, they are playing whatever and don't even wanna get near New World. This game is over for us, sadly.

Content is any kind of actitivity you can do in the game. So more quests is more content. More solo trials is more content. The group finder is a feature though, not content. So the better question is why is there "hardly any" content coming out until May?

as a new player with less than a month of play time, paying gold to respec made me entirely forget that I COULD respec. I was saving and building up my gold like a good little goblin not caring if my str build was optimized for the bow or life staff.. I cared not until I tried all the weapons and landed on hatchet, great axe, and blunderbus as my main weapons.

I wouldn't classify artifacts as new content, however I would classify them as brilliant additions as incentives to go out and do existing content again (and again... times 100+ for some)

People spending gold on an annoying feature shouldn't be justification for keeping it in the game. "People hate this feature but look how much gold they spend on it" reminds me of "People spend so much time farming this chore content that we've added, they must love it!"

are they ever going to fix the bug where the priest boss wont spawn that drops the weaponsmith hat. in great cleave. on my server it ranges 65k to 130k and im not spending that. i started this game 9 months ago and i havent been able to get the hat. last piece i need to be able to craft 700 weaponsmith.

Baggins can u do another damage user guide video, im really confused on what specific gear, like load type and stats on that gear is the best for me a great sword and spear user. Or what the best armor min maxing/really good armor for the specific armor load is the best?

How hard can it be to update the sandworm/hatchery to give updated rewards? Up the gearscores of the existing items, stick one of the artifacts in there, give us gold, maybe a chromatic seal once per week... let's go...

do you talk to the people who make new world? if you do that, you can tell them to put in more random quests, for example someone is standing in a cave opening and wants you to go in and rescue someone for him and it should be a new cave, so more random caves and another example that you have to go and escort someone through a village so people come at the same time and attack at the same time as the person you escort has to collect fruit or something

I had an older original release character and was able to get heartrune. You have to run the side quests to get it.

why they dont fix the weaponsmithing hat boss drop?

DAU's have gone down 3k per week consecutively since the beginning of the year. Looking like were in for a rough summer unless something changes.

I like how excited they pretend to be about 3 mutators coming... as if they couldn't change that number any time! If three is a super exciting number then why wasn't it 3 to begin with? I hate obviously fake responses.

Problem 1) Everyone is forced to run elite chests every day, for gold/ dark matter/ tokens. And yet 4 months go by after expansion, and all we get is, "No plans to update anything". Problem 2) Respec costs are (allegedly) the 3rd heaviest gold sink. We players need that cost chopped down by half, minimum. Love the idea to full replace with Azoth though. Problem 3) Every item you can reforge at the kiln requires a minimum of 20K gold before any perks. We should only need to plug in 1 chromatic, same as for Artifacts, full stop.

personally ranked 20v20 opr where you can just group up with company mates. with a rank. would be super easy to do and bring content.

They still haven't got a clue as to what their player base wants and needs. Their understanding of what "content" is, is a loosely used concept of content but really is quality of life (like updating loot tables and group finders). Excuses are what children use to get out of trouble. An adult acknowledges and fixes the problem. When are these Muppets going to grow up?

Psa... all of us need to be doing the surveys when they pop up on our main screen. Last time around i did a few surveys because during gameplay i thought of something else.... please be as detailed as possible and we can get things sorted. They are still working on this game and have priorities due to games we play being a business. Its up to us to accompany our issues with details so things can be identified and sorted.

On outdated rewards, it's not just the sandworm. The Legacy of Crassus rewards... both kinds of chests... are littered with crappy 625 mac gear score stuff (along with the Crassus gear in the 'big' boxes. Ridiculous to have that situation at all. It's just not that muvh work to update loot tables.

I have experienced aimbotters and those who seem to be stuck on you constantly no matter how you move or dodge. Those get reported as and when I come across them. Probably reported about 3 this last week alone. I couldnt care less about winning or losing in OPR, as XP is XP, but for those who care about leaderboards, People are watching

Hmm,,, what if they add to the imbalance of factions a system that the more territory one faction have the more penalty players will have, from example..a debuff to the faction owning 50-70% of the map or even less players that can join that fight if the faction have like 80% territories,from ex: 10 green vs 15 purple or whatever..i guess that could help the imbalance of the races.

One thing I’ll hard disagree with the community on: allowing dungeon gear that’s 2/3 perks guaranteed from M1+ to go in the kiln for upgrade will further kill crafting. It is already hard enough to make money and gear is the center of the market.

aimbots: a response I would have hoped for would be: yes, we are aware of which sites are doing this. whilst we don't actively seek to shutdown 3rd party websites, we do have access to their tools and use them in investigating how the exploit is being used. there could be argument as to AGS paying for it, but openly stating it should bring that particular site into question as to how long the $100 a month access will benefit before it is fixed. but the followup point in it being cat and mouse is just how this game (of hax vs fixes) works.

I have the feeling they are short in staff. When they decide to do one thing they forget about the all rest of the game. Bunch of useless GS625 rewards towards the all game.

I mean, just saying that the Sandworm is a good way to get dark matter doesn't help all of the people that grinded m10's for a long time and still sit with over 6k Dark matter from when they originally added dark matter to the game. I know a lot of people that do not worry about dark matter. Cool Raid but literally 0 Reward.

i had a dude shoot me crazy fast with a bow in a race the other day. it wasnt just rapid shot, i was in full heavy w voidplate / 200con and like 4 physical aver and thrust con. he literally nuked me faster than i could blink. first and only time ive ever seen that, someone said you can "flick" your shots to make them faster? idk about that, seemed more sus

A gold sink should hit all players somewhat equally. It’s not fair that players who stick to one build only can completely avoid the sink while players who explore the game more are taking the hit.

No question or answers on locking attributes to your gear set? having to respec every time is a pain in the ass

I have over 600 hours in new world. Stuck with it from release. Is it worth new players coming absolutely. Will the regulars like myself stick around probably not. It’s a good casual mmo for me is this something I’m dead set sticking forever, nope. This year is big for mmorpgs so basically just waiting

This is the game . They aren’t adding anything groundbreaking .. they are just opening more avenues and channels for new players to play the current game.

They should give anyone requesting it a main story reset so you can just go back to the start. So hopefully avoid the bugged quests. The influx of quest gold might be bad but if its only for a minority of bugged players then they should just do it.

The problem is company creates a road map, the company doesn't produce it, and continues to push back updates. All of this should have been added back before NW didn't understand the content is a new OPR map or game mode, new arena maps, new wep style, and artifacts I can call that system new but adding more doesn't count. Companies can't say were doing a good job when you back off your roadmap and don't supply any actual content.

You created your ptr character too soon. It was changed just before the testing started and the characters were 65 with 700 GS.

The only imbalance on influences races are where you have multiple companies of differing factions collaborating to gang up on others. Thats life and human nature. You will always have bullies. Tough luck, AGS cant do anything about that.

That faction imbalance answer is incredibly wrong. Either he's cherry-picking certain servers or doesn't know the data himself and is going by whatever someone is telling him. There is a disgusting imbalance in my server. I'm a Maurader, and we have practically no chance in an influence race.

Not racist by any means as I am Mexican, but I’m tired of the Asian theme in games. I get that the aesthetic is nice. But it’s getting old. There are plenty of other cultures you could add in like “La Llorna” as an enemy boss and story line. There’s Kali who’d be a great boss fight and easily make some nice aesthetic gear pieces. The samurai look, & 1600’s army look of Japan has been used so much. Idk, I’d like so see some better art ideas. ❤
