Wow! I remember watching this as a kid. The 80's were great especially for me. I was going to become of age during the 80's. Everything was great back then. No social media, cellphones etc. Didn't need em. Sad to think though that 1980, was gonna be the last year John Lennon was going to be alive.

Looking at the make me remember the greatest times of my years things were so much different even the early 70's looking back at the made me realize how much things were so much better. now even when the ball drops today it's not the same people changed 70's and 80's was all about family being at Cousins and uncles homes eating dinner with the whole family watching that ball drop sleeping over and waking up with families going for breakfast and having dinner again for new year's day. Now it's all changed people don't do that anymore very sad... I miss the 70's and 80's

There were a lot of elderly people that night, I wonder how many of them died that decade. I don't know why I keep thinking about that, but I remember when I celebrated with my grandmom the new year eve 2009-2010, and 7 years later she passed away.
