7 ай бұрынA new year is a new opportunity and I am hoping this is the year that this channel can really push on. As part of this process, I am committed to not only posting more regularly but also to continue to improve the quality.
The first step on this journey for improved quality is to use the INSTA 360 X3 camera to get some more variation on angles when I'm snowboarding. Please let me know what you think!

My legs are knackered too watching you crush it. The insta 360 is pretty spectacular camera and I think it gave you a number of options for editing which made it cool. Some shots did look like drone shots. Impressive edit and amazing that you got the goods. We had some snow 2 weeks ago and as you know, we had some serious thaw here.

@@Simonjburgess well booked a Backcountry / Splitboard camp in the Carpathian mountains end of the month with a guide, 3 days and have Leogang and Kaunertal also booked some days. Otherwise I still need to see for February I need to find smth. Where are you riding this year?

Simon, I first saw the Insta360 last season in Saas-Fee and liked the look of it -so much so that I have one and can't wait to try it out on the snow! I like your drone effects and the invisible selfer stick option makes the video look much smoother than with a GoPro.

Thanks Andrew, for someone who films solo a lot the invisible selfie stick and 3m pole making drone type effects made it something I really wanted to try. Let me know how you get on with yours!

Enjoyed your video and your new camera setup. Really happy to see you get some new snow. Winter has been slow here in the Pacific Northwest of the U.S., but it’s finally going to start snowing and I’m looking forward to surfing some pow. Cheers brother.

We do alright most years. Between 3 and 4 hundred inches of snowfall over the course of a winter. Around 130 settled at the beginning of spring. Our snow is heavily influenced by the close proximity of the Pacific Ocean and doesn’t stay soft for long after a storm, but it’s fun while it’s cold for sure.

It’s super rare for us to get the blower powder you were riding today. It can be very good, but not like that.

People will say there are similarities… I am not a great skater, can stand on a board and cruise… I suck at wakeboarding… with snowboarding I’ve found the right balance

i used to skate vert ramps and lernt my self to snowboard at meribel took me an hour @@Simonjburgess

There are certainly transferable skills… I reckon not being too afraid to slam in the beginning helps… skating probably prepared you for that

Hi iam a solo snowboarder and looking for French ski resorts thinking of coming to samoens just got back from alpe d huez would this be a good choice and are there lots of ski lifts to get the slopes from town

Hey, I love Samoëns. If you are going to stay in the village I would advise taking the ski bus to Vercland and head up the gondola from there. This is usually less crowded. The town is below the resort, if you want to be able to ski back to your apartment then consider Flaine. Any other questions give me a shout

@@whatsgoingon3822 yeah I hear you. I’ve stayed in Morillon, Samoëns, Les Carroz and Flaine. You can access the resorts pretty easily from all of them. What month are you planning to travel?
