I think this is cool man. I see a lot of interesting things where I live, would be fun to document it through video. Sometimes I get bored taking the same type of photos in the same places. Video could spice it up. Thanks for the inspiration.

I think there is a current fad or trend for people who self proclaim themselves as "Street Photographers" to mimic the method that people like Garry Winogrand or Bruce Gilden adopted, literally shoving a camera in passers by faces, they were the true original "artists" in the genre - if there even is a genre, the term Street Photography has become so skewed from what it was and should be, everyone else is simply trying to copy their style without understanding the process and the reasons behind why they did it. It's not cool, been done 100 time before and if you ask me completely unnecessary, to then argue with someone you have obviously upset and blame it on "art" is just a mask for their own incompetence and unprofessionalism.

@@R0CUK the word “street photography” has no meaning. “Snap shot photography” seems more appropriate to me. And I don't mean that in a pejorative way. I have the feeling that is what it's about, you walk and you capture candid moments of life, in the moment without thinking too much about its composition from a photo point of view.
