I'll never forget my spontaneous solo train ride from NJ to Manhattan...I ended up getting into a screaming match with some dude because I accidentally bumped him with my hip when I was coming down the aisle. By the time we pulled up to the station in NYC, the whole train car had taken sides and we were threatening to end one another's lives 😂

i was once on the train and this guy took a portable blender out of his bag and started making a smoothie with ingredients that were also in his bag, everyone looked at him for a while weirdly and one lady started yelling at him. They went back and forth arguing for a couple minutes and at the end the guy offered her a smoothie, and she looked at him in pure disgust before saying "sure" he then pulled out a red solo cup and poured her some, and she drank the whole thing.

I had a friend drive from NC to NY. When she got to NY, she got lost, drove around chinatown and started calling me. She was bawling about how people were cutting her off, cussing her out and giving her the middle finger. The drivers, wouldn't let her get into the next lane and they not using their turn signals. So I had to go and get her. She was in the middle of the road, having a meltdown. She said why are people so mean. I said welcome to NY.

I'm so sorry that happened to her. But if she wasn't accustomed to driving in the New York metropolitan area I can understand. Sadly I hear Road rage on national issues. But there are a lot of us are very nice I don't drive anymore because I don't need to. Bussdown in Chinatown there are no more numbered streets so I can understand the confusion.

I'm from Rye New York in Westchester County just below Greenwich Connecticut on Island Sound. Plus I no longer drive I have no need to. And everybody is self-centered these days sadly aggressive driving is Nationwide.

One thing they both said “Mind your business.” Cities have so much diversity and the strange make the city. 🤗 I’ve lived in Chicago and love it there. You always find an assortment of people on subways 🚊

I have vivid memories of dope fiends shooting up on the subway L -Train. NOTHING SURPRISES ME!!!! BUT, it wasn’t until….I moved to LAS VEGAS when I seen them Shooting a Porno….. straight up RAW LIVE like; No one cared …on the Las Vegas Monorail. I KNEW, RIGHT THEN AND THERE. The Rat in the ticket machine is a common thing in NYC especially in the summer. If the communication techs fail to seal the ends of the conduit that the phone circuits come in , the rats go inside since the inside of the machine is basically air conditioned to keep the computer CPU inside from overheating.
